Current Events and Reality

[MEntity] Hello to each of you. We are here.

We will first speak to the question of "current events" as they may be relevant to fragments who are not directly involved, often aware of such events only through public media. Some media/current events stand out strongly to you, and some are missed completely, while others may come to your attention to generate no strong sense at all beyond a prompt for consideration.

What we have to say today in response to this subject could go under a general subject heading that might be called "how reality works," as reality is quite subjective, quite relative, and rarely without interpretation. There IS a "reality" that is independent from your observations and interpretations, but it is rare that any experience of reality is completely free from the personal filters that "create reality" from those experiences.

When we speak of "parallel realities," we often speak in terms that are scientific and related to quantum physics, but there are times that we speak of "parallel realities" in the sense that one group's or one person's reality is quite different from another group's or another person's, yet all exist intermingling within the same space. This is often the case among groups or among people who are, each, invested in a conclusive interpretation of reality that is not truly open to any other interpretation. In that regard, one can be acquainted with someone who is almost literally "from another reality."

The older the soul becomes, the more inclusive and flexible the interpretive sphere of reality becomes. However, that flexibility of reality can become a rather ironic, painful, and isolating experience for those who do not "create a reality" with anyone, but allows room for the reality of many others' interpretations. This can begin to feel as if one is living behind a one-way mirror, always seeing others’ realities, but no one ever truly seeing one’s own. It begins to feel as if you are never truly seen, but merely a prop or reflection within the reality of someone else. That is simply the nature of reality, so to speak, for the older soul as a minority among younger soul ages. In that respect, it is near-vital for the older soul to find other older souls with whom reality can be shared, not so much for the validation of one's reality, but for the value of experience in being SEEN, HEARD, TOUCHED, etc.

Fragments are drawn to each other to share reality either for the sake of Recruitment, or for the sake of Intimacy. It could be said then that, in this context, Recruitment is the Negative Pole of Resonance, while Intimacy is the Positive Pole. And to this end, "current events" are filtered as a form of Recruitment or as a form of Intimacy, as well. Your news, media, politics, and "reality" in general around you either serves as Recruitment for securing your Conclusive Reality, or for generating Intimacy within your Potential Reality.

Recruitment emphasizes quantity and numbers of others for securing what one has deemed "true," while Intimacy emphasizes quality and exchange for exploring what one has deemed possible. Recruitment proselytizes; Intimacy shares. Recruitment has no room for questions, exploration, challenge, or possibility, while Intimacy generates space for questions, exploration, challenges, and possibilities.

Understanding this, one can begin to observe oneself in how one interprets the news:

Do you gravitate toward news that anchors your prejudices about reality, or do you gravitate toward news that challenges your prejudices? Keep in mind that "bad news" does not mean that it is anchoring or recruiting; often one gravitates toward "bad news" precisely because it challenges the prejudices that reality should only provide "good news," be positive, and uplifting. The manifested older souls gravitate toward "bad news," or exasperating, depressing, upsetting news because it helps the older soul to sustain a sense of spectrum about the universe. The manifested older soul knows that reality is a spectrum, not a slice. This older soul has embraced his Mature nature and knows that life can be dramatic, ugly, dangerous, upsetting, and sad.

The older soul that avoids "bad news" as a means to sustain a sense that reality is wondrous, beautiful, and full of possibility is a disconnected or fragmented old soul, nurturing a rather fragile reality that can often be shattered with a mere few words that contradict his or her strain to uphold a slice of reality. This older soul has crippled himself or herself. This is the monk who has determined that “city life” is violating, dangerous, and overwhelming because he has spent his years upholding a contrived version of the world in isolation on a mountaintop. This is the addict who requires a constant stream of false stimulation to keep up the good feeling that is lost without that stimulation. This is the new age student with good intentions who manipulates information, observations, and resources as a means to escape into, and sustain, a more fantastical version of the world.

The older soul who can accept that “bad news” and ugliness are only part of the spectrum, and that “good news” and beauty are only part of the spectrum, and that there is a lot of life in between that, is the older soul who has moved toward wholeness. To emphasize one extreme or the other is Recruitment.

Keep in mind that any move to a Positive Pole is only done by "entering" through the Negative Pole, so that even as one moves toward Intimacy, it will require some amount of Recruitment. And that is why we do not see one Pole as being "better than" another in any part of our system, but more a description of a process, a spectrum, a circle, a sphere. For example, when one has felt the isolation inherent in being a minority Soul Age, it may take Recruitment to establish a common ground that can then lead to the expansion, questions, and exploration that is Intimacy. We clarify this move from negative to positive so that you do not presume that if you recognize Recruitment in your gravitation toward people or the news, that you are "bad," or doing something "wrong." You are simply nearer to that point in your progress and experience of Resonance.

Recruitment often helps one to discover if there is a valid common ground at all. However, to remain in Recruitment as a foundation for your reality and relationships is to nurture delusion, fragility, and in some extreme cases a move into fundamentalism, and into psychological disturbances that include such diagnoses as sociopath and schizophrenic.

To wrap up our initial responses to this subject, we will say that if the older soul finds he or she is more depressed, overwhelmed, and upset by what is reported by the media as news and current events, then that older soul would simply want to balance that out with an active interest in other news that portrays the more dominant news on the planet, which is "good" or "neutral."

As we respond to your specific questions, we may be able to help elaborate upon how certain events trigger more responses within one’s self than other certain events. We will also seek to shed insight upon some of the current events that you may ask about that are perplexing, so that one can see how events can "mean" very different things within different contexts.

[Question] South Africa has, at least for my whole life, been a country in the midst of constant fear and political upheaval. As we are a country of people with such vastly different socio-economic, educational and cultural back grounds, it often feels like there will forever be strife, disharmony and fear. The 2010 World Cup has been a break from this though. In the last month we have experienced the most profound Inspiration, Joy, Unity and Patriotism. It was the first time in my memory I felt like we where unified, and there was hope for a more tranquil life. Even the crime stat's where down during this period. Was this just a fleeting thing, or should this be seen as an example of what is possible? Or just a reminder of what we may never permanently achieve? I honestly wish that the whole world could have experienced this Group Consciousness.

[MEntity] We would say that this example is one that exemplifies Recruitment over Intimacy. Keep in mind that Intimacy is only gained after Recruitment, but Recruitment is fragile, a distraction, and often short-lived or in need of great defense. For this event to move from Recruitment to Intimacy, it would require that the passion remain beyond the illusion of bonds generated by representation in a sports team. The demographic of South Africa is quite Moving Center-centric, if you will, so it is not surprising that one way toward Intimacy might be through the Physical symbolism of a sports game or team. In our perspective, this is fairly important to keep in mind because a Moving-Centered demographic can just as easily "bond" through war, genocide, and other physical plane tragedies that then act as reasons for unity. The fact that a sports event is preferred is something one might call a “good sign.” With that in mind, we can say that this Young Soul culture's sense of unity as generated from a game is indicative of a maturing population that would rather bond over playful competitiveness than over painful competitiveness; bond over games, instead of wars.

[Question] Is moving-centered common to a particular soul-aged culture?

[MEntity] Centering tends to become a trend, but is never a static state. Centering can tend to become a genetic inclination, a cultural inclination, and a soul age inclination that has collective momentum, but is not static. Centering as related to a Soul Age, Genetics, Ethnicity, Culture, demographic, etc is quite dependent on what is happening in the world at the time. For instance, Young Souls TEND to prefer Moving Center AT THIS POINT, but have not always leaned in that direction. A more elaborate example: "Black" culture and genetics, in general (and relevant to South Africa) are inclined toward the Moving Center, AT THIS TIME, but have only moved toward that inclination since the late 1960s after a long period of time when Mature Souls with Emotional Centering chose that ethnicity, culture, and genetics for exploration. Once the Mature Souls with Emotional Centering moved into civil riots that paved the way for civil rights and freedom in The United States, this generated a new wave of interest from fragments who found the emphasis on the Moving Center for the bodies went well with this new territory of freedom for exploration, thus attracting a large numbers of Young Souls who now find this still-developing freedom to be exciting to burst through.

When we say "genetics" in this case, by the way, we are speaking of trends that become associated with certain cultures, ethnicities, and skin colors, but are not specifically linked in any biologically-consistent way. Some Centering inclinations do eventually become genetically-linked, such as the emphasis of strength on Intellect often having to be drawn from a pool of genetics that include poor eyesight. This tendency can be seen in Eastern Asian cultures and genetics.

[Question] What more can one "DO" in the world to help – i.e., an Older Soul in Observation - how do you make a difference?

[MEntity] If your question is in relation to the potential presented by the unity over the sports game in South Africa, one can only do so much if one is not a part of that particular geography and culture. What one can "do" from afar is to remain educated about the politics and potential of that area, and then to find or create a means of communication and interaction with those who are involved in that area. This communication and interaction can then provide anything from a source of support to a source inspiration to a source of tangible help. Beyond finding a way to actually be a part of the dynamic of that culture, however remotely, one can most often only choose to trust.

In choosing to trust, one has given some amount of recognition to the Essences involved in certain troubled areas, allowing for those Essences to experience and learn whatever it is they seek to learn and experience. This response from us is not an encouragement for ignoring or dismissing the plight of a demographic that is “out of sight, out of mind,” but to help encourage a capacity to differentiate between when one can do something vs when one cannot. Trust is a form of Doing, so there is always something one can DO, but Trust is also a form of Being, and Having, so all fragments can participate in Trust.

Trusting a population over which you have no control, particularly when that population has no direct bearing on your daily life, is a form of Essence Recognition, and Essence Recognition is the only true form of evolution available to any fragment extant.

Evolution of any one fragment is an evolution of your species' collective consciousness, and then this potential evolution becomes available to any population.

[Question] From what was said in the opening remarks, I can see how it might be difficult for the skeptic or cynic to see the "good news" of their reality, whereas it is more difficult for the idealist to see the "bad news" of their reality. Sliding from an idealist point of view, I've begun to slide towards cynicism when learning and analyzing the current events of the world, as well as seeing the directions that vectors of current events may lead in the coming decades, namely new wars, famines, and a great deal of hardship for many. I suppose it could be said just another century on Planet Earth.

[MEntity] It is true that certain Attitudes may be inclined toward "good" over "bad" news, or vice versa, but this would only be true from the Negative Poles of the Attitude.

Though done in different ways, from the Negative Poles the Exalted Attitudes will tend to deny the "bad news" of reality, whereas the Ordinal Attitudes will tend to deny the "good news" of reality. It is not that these ends of the spectrum of news or life are "difficult" for the Attitudes to see, but that it is easier not to see them. What we mean is that the Exalted Attitudes "enter" reality through negative poles that tend to emphasize a lack of details, hence things are more beautiful, naturally. The Ordinal Attitudes tend to "enter" reality through negative poles that emphasize details, hence things are a bit "uglier" or pixelated, if you will. Again, we remind you that for one to move to the Positive, one must enter through the Negative, so these inclinations are “natural.” This is why we say that is it "easier," not because it is difficult to move beyond the negative, but that it takes effort. It takes no effort to rest in a Negative Pole. The Negative Pole is the starting gate. For the Exalted Attitudes to become whole in perspective, they must often experience SHOCK to move beyond the Negative Pole. For the Ordinal Attitudes to become whole in perspective, they must often experience SURPRISE to move beyond the Negative Pole.

[Question] Somehow I get a feeling the world is in for a dose of both shock and surprise. How would you differentiate between the two, in this sense?

[MEntity] We realize those terms may sound similar, but they are not: Shock is like a wall that halts one's perspective, whereas Surprise is like an invitation to go beyond the wall. The Ordinal Attitudes are not easily Shocked, but are quite intrigued by Surprise. The Exalted Attitudes are not easily Surprised, but can destroy walls of isolating, insular, or delusional perspective when Shocked.

[Question] and the Neutral Attitude of Pragmatism?

[MEntity] As usual, the Assimilative Attitude/Overleaf would tend toward whichever is more relevant to the experience. In other words, in the context of Relationships, a Pragmatist may require Shock, whereas in the context of Career, a Pragmatist may require Surprise.

[QUESTION] How might we try to find peace and compassion with ourselves, our peers, and the world, rather than focusing on fear and despair, even when it feels like the world either is, or is about to, burn around us?

[MEntity] We will say that the key to wholeness for the older soul in terms of interpretation, perspective, and possibility is to always ask WHAT IS THE TRUTH. Speculation IS NOT the truth, on any Level. If it is NOT the truth, then fear, panic, defense are completely useless and unwarranted. So while one might speculate that the current events may indicate leading toward disastrous futures, it is important to realize that this is SPECULATION, and that your center of power is only Now, which is not just a concept, but a point in time and space that is precise. That precise point of Now allows one to emphasize making the choices, actions, and feelings that can help steer reality in directions one prefers.

[Question] Isn't truth relative to the perspective of the person who sees something as their truth? In which case, searching for truth is like searching for a moving and constantly changing target?

[MEntity] That is why we said that speculation is never the truth on any level. Speculation is Speculation. Reality and truth are what you choose for it to be. However, what is true for you must be explored in terms of what is valid personally, globally, and/or universally for it to be a whole truth. For instance: it may be a Personal Truth that you are concerned about the future of the planet based on what you see occurring around you. The TRUTH is that you are concerned, the rest is interpretation; speculation. The future of the planet is not involved in any way beyond the speculations that prompt your concerns. The future of the planet as you see it is still only one of billions of possibilities. So what one can do in that situation is to ask:

A) am I using the news as a means of Recruitment? In other words, am I only emphasizing certain things in life that confirm what I've already decided is true?

B) How can I use this concern to effectively address that which I am concerned about?

It is true that "reality and truth are what you choose for it to be," but as older souls, it becomes important to validate those truths against the reality and truths that are independent from your preferences, interpretations, and prejudices. So while you may feel it is true that the world is headed toward demise, it would be helpful to explore all of the educational materials that not only address the problems, but suggest solutions, so that your perspective is not a conclusion, but a piece of a process. Simply deciding what is true and real does not make it true or real to any significant degree beyond yourself. This is why people are drawn to either rest in the Recruitment reflected in news or through other people so as to sustain what has been decided as true and real, or they move beyond this into Intimacy so that they can expand beyond prejudices, preferences, and interpretations.

"Reality" is only as "real" as one concludes/defends it, or explores/expands it.

AN EXPERIMENT: We can suggest to all of our students as an experiment on reality to play with the idea that you may be "wrong" about what you know is true. In other words, encourage yourselves to move beyond what you have concluded or found familiar, and stretch into the "what if's" of your world.

For instance, if you are dissatisfied with your work environment and have concluded that you are surrounded by Younger Souls who simply do not "get you," you can experiment with "what if" questions that seed changes in your experience of that reality. Such as "what if... I let it be okay that they do not get me?" "What if... it is I who does not get them?" "What if... I not let their interpretation of me decide my experience of my day?"

Or if one is bombarded with news of the British Petroleum oil geyser that clearly implies a long-term consequence, and one puts into perspective the history of unconscious dependence on limited resources, instead of one allowing this to be the conclusion about reality, one instills alongside one's concerns the "what if" experiment: "What if... this event helps change everything for the better of the world in terms of resources and responsibilities?” "What if... this is only indicative one business model and mistake?" "What if... necessity is the fuel of invention, and I trust that someone, somewhere, is on this with a solution that may shorten the impact of this event?" The reason we suggest this experiment is because you already do this, but most often in the direction of demise. "What if... this is the end of the world?"

[MEntity] All of you play the "what if..." experiment, but it is only when those "what if's" are interpreted as conclusive, or when they are limited to one end of the spectrum of possibilities that one has lost wholeness of perspective. Challenge your default "what if's" and see what happens.

[INTERJECTION] To which degree should this be taken? I mean, I could declare the world to be a donut, but know it not to be true?

[MEntity] If one wants to experiment with "what if... the world is a donut?" we would be curious as to what you found in your results.

[MEntity] Our point, in general, is that only what you currently experience, and what is currently happening around you, however you interpret it, is "the truth" on some level. Everything else is speculation and possibility.

[Question] So many people (including many Michael students) are talking about a shift coming for “2012” with “big changes”. Every news event is another "portent". This seems to me to be antithetical to the very idea “all is choice” – what would be served by a massive, instant jump in “awareness” or consciousness level or whatever. Wouldn’t this kind of thing take away the opportunity for younger souls to work through their growth naturally. It seems like magical thinking to me, that somehow the planet will leap up to be more in tune with older souls. Is that the attraction to the idea?

[MEntity] Every Soul Age has its own ideas about any "leap forward" in consciousness, if that concept is even on the radar for them. That the world would leap forward into sync with older souls might be an attraction to older souls, but certainly not to younger souls. 2012 as a period of accelerated shift is appealing to Old Souls for various reasons, but mostly as a means to fulfill a longing for Resonance with the whole of the world in a way that has been impossible for all of that Soul Age. You are a minority, and however fulfilling it is for each of you to find one another, to bond here, to know that others exist like you, it is naturally painful to also know that you are so "not like" anyone else in so many ways.

The irony in this longing for Resonance that is prompting many older souls to find the 2012 projections appealing, is that the Old Soul feels this way, even when surrounded by the most like-minded and intimate of souls. This feeling is simply part of the process of Essence evolving beyond the Physical Plane. As the profundity of realization by Essence that it is part of an Entity, the profundity of isolation that a Personality can feel becomes awesome and terrifying.

It might be thought that as one grows older in soul age that the profundity of death and evolution becomes embraced, but it is often quite the opposite. It becomes terrifying for the first time in a way that is indicative of true comprehension by the current Personality that it is one of many, and finite. Once that terror is processed, Cycling Off is fairly close in reincarnational terms. The Old Soul that has truly processed this terror is neither flippant about death, nor dismissive, but deeply compassionate about its spectrum of impact.

We elaborate upon this because it helps to put into perspective that it is not your minority status of Soul Age that lends you a sense of isolation or lack of feeling intimate with your world; it is only you who does that, and even in the most accommodating of cultures and worlds, you can feel this way. This elaboration can also help lend insight into why the Old Soul might find it appealing to focus on some fantastical portal or scheduled shift that promises that the world might "catch up" to their perspective, or lend relief to their isolation and private misery.

When the Old Soul realizes that no world shift, acceleration of consciousness, or global ascension will relieve him or her from the responsibility for his own presence, perspective, and power, then he or she is once again free. This Old Soul would be free from overwhelming emphasis on isolation, loneliness, and terror, and move to simply allow those experiences as a part of the spectrum of life.

That being said, shift does happen, but it is almost always long-term, gradual, propagated, and not sudden, obvious, scheduled, or imposed.

When a group "shift" of consciousness is sudden, it is almost always short-term and specific to a group of souls who intend to exit that lifetime shortly after that shift. For instance, much of Cadre 9 "shifted" at once in various soul ages/levels during the event known as "9/11."

We are fairly certain that some groups will impose various make-shift "shifts" upon others within December of 2012 in some way, and many will use those fabricated shifts as points that prompt personal acceleration, be it material, intellectual, emotional, spiritual, but we know of nothing "magical" on the horizon beyond the sheer magic that is already life.

The loss of a job, a car crash, a terminal illness, a fulfilling relationship, a leap in career, and even a good mood can be one's "2012" or shift that accelerates one into new perspectives and levels of consciousness, but these cannot, and are not, scheduled on any global or cosmic calendar.

[Question] At the risk of getting a causal plane ruler slap to the Earth knuckles, here goes: I get the feeling like there is some major event pending for the early November 2010 time frame. Would Michael care to comment on what has the largest probability, perhaps geopolitical wise, and how that would affect us around that time frame?

[MEntity] The most-significant probability that we can see for that period of time would be the likely death of a rather prominent political figure. That is not a prediction, but merely a response that describes a higher probability based on current patterns.

[Question] from the US or otherwise?

[MEntity] Yes, a United States politician, or at least involving one prominently. In other words, if the leader of North Korea were to die, it might be that a prominent United States politician is presumed directly involved.

[Question] natural or unnatural?

[MEntity] Natural or Unnatural are not details within the probabilities available to us at this time.

[Question] Current potential outcome of the gulf disaster, given what we know at this stage?

[MEntity] The highest probabilities we can see for that situation are that it acts as a catalyst for implementing alternative energy resources in one vein; is a reworking of laws for corporations in another vein; and a prompting for key members of the next generation to "never let this happen again." All of these “veins” appear to have high potential for combining ideals that are a part of the Vector toward a Resource-based Economy/World, while accommodating/bridging from the outdated ideas of a Debt-based Economy/World.

In terms of planetary impact, it is rather minor, though that is in a grand context and is not stated to minimize the painful or direct impact it has on those currently affected. We simply state that the world will move on, adapt, and eventually find this to be another blunder in history.

[Question] given that it was an accident (or was it), how do you "never let it happen again"?

[MEntity] It does appear to have been an “accident”, and how a generation might "never let it happen again" would include moving beyond resources that would ever generate this kind of "accident."

The greatest solution we can see as taking priority in the probabilities ahead that would keep the world moving toward a Resource-based Economy would be the combination of all ideas for alternative or complementary power sources that are marketable and currently viable, allowing for individuals, households, and complexes to choose from wind, water, and solar. There is not a single alternative that stands as the solution, but the combination and appropriate implementation of one or more alternatives, relative to geographic compatibilities.

So many people around me talk about receiving information from their guides. Some seem to literally hear their guides and others seem to sense their guides. Recently I have met a healer who seems to follow most of his guides instructions, and I find the idea of that unsettling. I think it would be really helpful to explore this topic and gain clarity about who/what our guides are, how they interact with us, and what tend to be our illusions/delusions about the whole thing.

Self-Karma

DISCUSSION LEVEL: Experienced Student

Despite the complexities that can be involved in Self-Karma, the actual concept, exploration, and resolution are quite simple. That is not to say that the process is "easy," but that describing these elements is fairly simple.

First, we will define Karma as "any form of intensity (imbalance) as a result of interferrence to your capacity for Choice." Interference of Choice is not the only criteria for generating Karma. There must be an intensity, or imbalance, generated from at least one party, and most-often the party who suffered the loss of Choice.

The sudden increase for capacity of Choice is also a form of Karma, if intensity is generated. We describe this as Philanthropic Karma, and this form of Karma "feels good," but it is Karma, nonetheless, as it interfered with Choice and generated intensity.

When Karma is generated, "Ribbons" are formed as a means to track those intensities. Those Ribbons connect among the Instinctive Centers of all who are involved. It might be more accurate to describe these as "tuned frequencies" that do not lose track of the members of that frequency, but we feel that "ribbons" is easier to image.

The resolution of Karma is in the "burning" of the "ribbon," or neutralizing that frequency.

The burning of ribbons is always done through role reversal, either with the parties from each side reversing positions, or from the party who generated the karma reversing his or her own actions that generated the Karma.

A simplified example of each might be: Reversing Positions = you kill someone, that someone kills you. Reversing Actions = you kill someone, you then save that someone in a later life.

We realize that we have been sharing the details about our perception of Karma, but this is helpful in understanding your Self-Karma because much of the same dynamic applies.

We will define Self-Karma as being "a dual position within that interferes with your own capacity for Choice, and generates intensity, or imbalance." Often these are also described as "Issues."

ALL Self-Karma is contained within a single lifetime and does not carry over in the same way that Ribbons do among fragments. Self-Karma is generated by the Personality within the lifetime. However, Self-Karma can show up as patterns for an Essence, because Essence designs each Personality, and often the patterns of exploration sought by Essence generates similar opportunities across lifetimes for each Personality that tends toward certain Self-Karmic issues. If a Personality resolves his or her Self-Karma within a lifetime, that Self-Karma is usually not repeated, because Essence then has a completed set of new data from which to use for creating a lifetime. Since Essence learns through Personality, it can only progress beyond certain Self-Karmic patterns when a Personality finally figures out how to resolve the issue. That is not to say that a pattern does not repeat, but that it is rarely repeated. When we say that it is not repeated, we are speaking about a specific Self-Karma, but that issue may be a part of a larger category of Self-Karma, which we will explain in a moment.

If you are alive, you most-likely have Self-Karma. Self-Karma is so common a development among Personalities that even the hosts for the Transcendental and Infinite Souls carried Self-Karma. However, in the cases of Transcendental and Infinite Soul hosts, the Self-Karma is always resolved within the lifetime.

Self-Karma is generated in four categories of your life, which mirror the Axes of our Overleaf System. It would be more accurate to say that Self-Karma is generated in one or more of your four "bodies" that mirror the Axes of our Overleaf System: your Intellectual, Emotional, Physical, and Spiritual/Instinctive Bodies. These categories can help you to identify your Self-Karma by where, how, and when you find yourself divided in a way that interferes with your capacity for Choice.

Self-Karma is often paralyzing in its effects. When we say "paralyzing," we include those uncontrollable compulsions that force a choice even when you "know" is not a choice you would prefer to make. We include non-choice, refusal to choose, or the fear to choose, as a means to suspend yourself between two or more choices, as forms of paralyzing.

What we will share now is a simple exercise for identifying your Self-Karma in a way that allows for tangibility so that resolution can be made, if you choose to pursue such an endeavor.

Draw up a chart in a way that creates the four categories, or bodies: Intellectual, Emotional, Physical, and Spiritual.

With merely a glance at your life, considering each category, it might be fairly easy to identify at least one Self-Karma from each category.

You could translate each category into a way to help your examination, such as: Expression, Inspirational, Action, and Assimilliation areas of your life. Assimillation might be better understood as your "Learning" or "Comprehension," or the "Lessons" are of life.

Another translation: my world view; my relationships; my body; my spirit.

Questions to pose for each category, regardless of how one translates that category might sound something like:
"What do I get the most upset about in this category?"
Or "In this category, what experience repeats for me that keeps me from making the choices I want to make?"
Or "In this category, where do I wish something else would change before I can make a choice that I prefer?"
Or "In this category, to what do I tend to overreact?"
Or "In this category, what triggers reaction in me?"
Or "What frustrates me the most about myself, others, life in this category?"

At first, your examination may bring up broad categories, and that is a good place to start, but you would eventually want to narrow it down to specific triggers or situations. For instance, you may feel that issues of INJUSTICE is a large context that carries triggers for you, but upon closer inspection, you may find that you are really only triggered when someone does not comply to your way of thinking, or agree with you, or celebrate your passionate stance with the same passion. This might indicate that your issues are not so much about Injustice, but about "Being Right" or "Being Superior."

Once one has identified a Self-Karma, then the work of resolution can begin. Resolution is found when there is no longer a sense of division, and your choice is completely owned by you. We will give a very simple example:

A fragment identifies that she has "issues" with her body image, detailing that she feels ugly because she does not lose weight, but does not do the work of losing that weight. This would fall under BODY, or Physical. The broader category would be "Body Image," but she might find she is triggered in instances where she is going to be social or intimate.

Her Self-Karma then might be the division within that says she is beautiful just as she is, as long as no one sees her. Being "Beautiful As I Am" means to her to never having that concept challenged, so she remains isolated and secluded to sustain that version of herself. Being "As Beautiful as Others Prefer" would mean shaping the body into a new form, which means exercise, diet, and patience, but this is in conflict with "Beautiful As I Am," and to follow through in that direction might mean she really is not beautiful as she is, so reprimanding, self-punishment, self-hate, repulsion replace diet, exercise, and patience. She remains at home, or secretly isolated internally, even when in social situations.

The resolution would come only when she MAKES THE CHOICE in one direction or the other, and allows herself to own that choice. If she chooses to "Be Beautiful As I Am" then it would require the work of self-acceptance, self-kindness, accentuating all that is felt to be beautiful, internally and externally, and to build upon that. She would celebrate the beautiful in those people and things that she knows as beautiful beyond any standard in entertainment or social media. She would allow for all forms of beauty, knowing that this is a subjective matter, and never something that can be standardized.

If she chooses to "Be as Beautiful as Others Prefer," then she would own the steps necessary to go down that path, and begin a commitment to exercise, diet, patience, and a reality-check that she cannot transform her body to be exactly as someone else's, but that she can make it the best it can be. She would embrace the fact that she may not please everyone, but focus on moving her body into a state that is pleasing to herself. She is simply taking care of herself.

In short: the Self-Karma is a division that could be described as "Accept my self as I am/Improve upon my self-image." The resolution is to choose one of those and to own all that goes along with that choice.

The irony is that in the commitment to one or the other, BOTH are ultimately included; hence the resolution. Neither side of the division is left behind.

Accepting your self as you are automatically includes an upgrade to your self image. Improving upon your self-image automatically brings a kindness to the process that is an acceptance for who you are all along the way of your improvement. Improving yourself in your own eyes automatically improves your representation of yourself to others, thus improving yourself in their eyes, as well. Improving yourself in a way that others may find appealing often leads to clarity about what must be improved in your own eyes.

When choosing a direction for commitment to resolution, it is often more beneficial and efficient to choose the direction over which you have the most control. For instance, taking the route of "Accept Myself As I Am" is far more within the control of that person than if she were to entirely depend upon the external factors for gauging her progress. Both paths could work, but this is why many teachings encourage one to start with the self, since that is where one has the most control, and is almost always guaranteed success. Choosing to go in a direction of lesser control that requires others to comply to your ideal is still a valid path, but a more complicated and challenging path, with less-likely successes.

The more time and care given to your examination of your Self-Karma, the more quickly and easily the resolution might come because the solutions are often within the issue, itself.

Are there different gemstones with their frequencies that might be utilized to help neutralize the energies of these four self-karma categories?

If it is understood that these gemstones are merely a supportive energy, and not an energy that actually does the work for you, then there are stones that might help some fragments receptive to that energy. To understand how these work, it might be helpful to think of each gemstone as being a light of specific color, and when that light is shined into your space, it can highlight certain things. It is not that the stone is actually "doing" anything other than being itself. A flashlight in the dark is not magic, but it can certainly improve one's capacity for seeing. And so it is with such tools as gemstones.

With that being understood, the most common stones available for helping support in the process of Self-Karma might be:

Rose Quartz or Pyrite for Physical/Body Issues
Amethyst Quartz or Citronite for World View/Intellectual/Expression issues
Tourmaline or Jades for various Learning/Comprehension/Instinctive Issues
Tiger's Eye or Azurites for Emotional/Relationship Issues

These stones may help to highlight the areas prone to opportunities for resolution, but they will not resolve the issues for you, or soothe them.

There is validity to frequencies generated from inanimate objects, especially from those directly of the planet, but as with any tool, it is what you do with them that makes the difference, not necessarily the properties of that object. A hammer is just a hammer until one picks it up to use with intent, and that intent can have a multitude of outcomes.

How do you deal with cases where manifesting is involved and appears to interfere with the resolution? For example: If the woman above decides to get in shape, but then injures herself or gets into a car accident that hurts her back. How to avoid or get past that? I see it a lot.

The Self-Karma would remain, as well as the resolution, regardless of circumstances along the way. To make this clearer, we will use an example of a man who has lost his legs who feels he is worthless without being able to walk. The Self-Karma is not in whether he can walk, or not, but in how he experiences whether he can walk, or not. If he is divided to such an extent that it paralyzes his capacity for choice, then he has generated Self-Karma. If he embraces his experience, or if he commits to rising above it, then the Self-Karma is resolved.

For the woman who has hurt her back after commiting to improving the health of her body, she can still commit to the improvement of her health and body.

When a commitment in one direction of resolution comes with great obstacles, or surprise obstacles, or challenges, the commitment itself must inherently make room for all of the possibilities of that path, or it is not a commitment.

Is there a way of avoiding or lessening the chances of that happening in the first place? It seems to me that it happens when someone forces themselves towards one choice without being ready?

You are correct that "forcing a choice" is still included in Self-Karma, as we described it as a compulsion. And that is a good point for differentiation:

Resolution comes from EMBRACING YOUR CHOICE, not FORCING your choice. Forcing a choice leads to complications that compound the Self-Karma. Embracing a choice means absolute permission to explore that choice on your own terms at your own pace, and with an invitation to Essence, your friends, your loved ones for support in that choice.

Forcing a choice is usually marked by intensity and often secrecy.

Embracing a choice is usually marked by a gentleness and an openness without shame.

That is not to say that embracing a choice would avoid any surprises, but that embracing a choice inherently brings the strength of adaptability.

In addressing self-karma through another channel once, you told me to consider my greatest concern in life and I'll be on my way to identifying my self-karma... then you asked me "how satisfied are you with your response to friendship". Would you elaborate a little more on the why of that particular question and how it relates to my self-karma?

For examination on a broader level, we would ask about the "greatest concern in life," and this would allow one to find his or her most pressing issue/s. Following this with a question about relationships would help to identify a category. That question would have been asked if we suspected it may be helpful to look into your Emotional or Relationship Category for refinement of that exploration.

Thank you, good evening! Could you please give an example of, and resolution to, a spiritual self karma? Would perfectionism be a spiritual self karma?

A broad example of a Spiritual/Instinctive Self-Karma might be those issues associated with Guilt and Shame. A specific Spiritual Self-Karma within Guilt or Shame might be in the experience of being an Old Soul among family members who are Baby and Young, and having to deal with this in a way that does not leave you feeling divided between "being yourself" and "compromising just to keep the peace." In that case, the choice would be between "being yourself" and letting others deal with that, or "Compromising to keep the peace" as a means of dealing with it on your own. The resolution would be in the fact that regardless of which choice you make, you are ALWAYS "yourself," and no context changes that, regardless of the facet you choose to bring forth appropriately or strategically.

In an example you gave, - which is EXACTLY me, lol, and started with back injuries, are both options you gave equally valid for truly resolving the issue? Using that example, what happens if you improve yourself and then later on you end up backsliding or being injured, etc and are once again feeling overweight and unattractive? It seems like loving yourself as you are resolves the situation, whereas changing your body, while healthier physically, could be undone.

Self-Karmic resolution is immediate and permanent and not based upon conditions. If the motivations for improving upon the body as a path to resolution is conditional upon reaching some conclusive state that will only THEN be satisfied, then it is merely a perpetuation of the Self-Karma. If one were to choose to improve upon the body as a means for reaching a state considered "beautiful," it would have to include kindness, patience, and a devotion to the self in a way that naturally translates into "beautiful as you are along the way." The embrace of the commitment to improve upon the body as a means to reach a greater state of beauty would mean that you are merely at one point in that spectrum of beauty, rather than its needing a finish line to cross.

Another way to understand when one is in Resolution is when you know your choice is because you WANT to make that choice, not because you feel you HAVE to make that choice.

"I HAVE to make this choice if I want to be beautiful" is not a choice that resolves Self-Karma. "I HAVE to accept myself as I am in order to feel beautiful" is equally imprisoning. In this case, it would be helpful to understand that the ideal of beautiful cannot be reached without creating steps along the way that are seen as beautiful to you. Much like building a brick house, it must be completed brick by brick. It is never helpful to deny that it is a brick house simply because it is not to a point where you feel you can live in it. For instance, the simple decision to "try to like how I look today" is a beautiful decision. It may not stick, but for now, it is beautiful. The more "for now" moments of beauty you extract from your experiences will add to the materials that build your ideal structure of beauty. The decision not to eat a certain way for the day because you feel this contributes to your better health is a beautiful decision, even if you do not choose that the next day. For now, it is beautiful.

Those simple moments build into a matrix that helps to generate moments that are far more pivotal toward resolution.

So you often surround yourself with 'conditions' when you are experiencing self-karma?

Oh yes. Depending on the extent and depth of the Self-Karma, the more conditional your existence. "I can be beautiful as I am, as long as I am invisible." Those "conditions" generate a false reality, and that is what gets exhausting, not the actual process of resolution. Sustaining a false reality as a means to balance the divisions within is literally exhausting. All Self-Karma can be resolved in an instant once the truth of the absolute superficiality and uselessness is comprehended.

ALL Self-Karma are simply forms of self-discipline that have gone awry in the self-parenting process. Or put another way, generated during the Third Internal Monad.

Is the majority of self-karma generated during or through the 3rd IM or are their other times/experiences that generate a certain amount of self-karma as well?

Self-Karma is almost entirely generated during the Third Internal Monad, and complicated or refined over the rest of the life. For instance: there may be the experience of being rejected based on appearance, which prompts one to be very concerned about appearance, which then becomes a divide within that acceptance is based heavily upon appearance, which then becomes specific to certain body parts, or spreads to include the entire body.

So it might be useful looking at the experiences surrounding the 3rd IM in order to help identify some of the behaviours that are self-karmic? Find their genesis, so to speak, and understanding what has given rise to them, be able to put them into a more proper perspective?

It is not necessary to understand from where or when these were generated. It will never matter where or when these were generated, as it is the current "you" who make the choices now. It would be similar to trying to understand when, where, and why you have brown hair. It does not matter. You have the choice to embrace that color, or to change it.

We pointed out the timeframe of origin as a means to point out that many of these issues are "teen age" or "young soul" levels of issues, or even younger, and that their bearing has little validity or relevance to you as an adult or older soul.

Self-karma is created by ourselves and not circumstances or others...

Correct. It is created when one interferes with one's own choices to the point that it generates a divide within.

Thanks Michael. You've touched on some of this already, but here's my original question/s: Could you comment on how Self Karma tends to be experienced across all soul ages, or is it more likely to be confronted by us as we mature in soul age?

If you are alive, you most likely experience Self-Karma. Most Self-Karma is relative to the predominant Soul Age for your planet, or your current society within which you were nurtured.

So there are links to Social/Cultural soul age?
Relative...?

All Soul Ages experience Self-Karma, but it is true that there are emphases within each: Infant and Old tend toward Spiritual Issues; Baby tends toward Intellectual/Expression Issues; Young tends toward Physical/Body Issues; and Mature toward Emotional/Relationship Issues.

Though Old tends toward Spiritual Issues, they are prone to taking on the predominant issues of the times, and can run that gamut of issues across the soul ages, depending on what is of interest for exploration that has never been resolved.

Most Old Souls that we know of have yet to resolve Self-Karmic issues remembered from their Young Soul days and are finally "getting around to them" now. That is because the current society fully supports Young Soul issues involving appearance, body, health, etc. When most of you were in your Young Soul days, your "Baby" or Intellectual/Expression issues were most explored.

We would also point out that now that the planet is technically Mature Soul, newer generations would generate their Self-Karma during the Fourth Internal Monad. In an Old Soul Society, these would be generated during the Fifth Internal Monad. The predominant Soul Age during the lifetime usually indicates when the Self-Karma is generated, and though it can also indicate what kind, it is not necessarily limited to that.

Does this mean we would have to wait for society to catch up to work through mature and old soul issues?

No, we simply speak about the practicality of the times, since Self-Karma is generated and contained within the single Personality, which is most-often imprinted by the current society, but anyone can work on anything at any time.

Oh, I misunderstood -- there are four categories of Self-Karma, but one only develops an issue within one category during any given lifetime?

No. The timeframe for when they are usually generated is fairly consistent, and it can indicate the root of many issues, but could include issues from any category.

In your response to another question, you mentioned that one must choose between being themselves and compromising to keep the peace. How do you accept that finding that compromise may never occur and to be accepting that your best attempts to rectify a situation will never be enough while accepting that the consequences of the failure of another will happen to them, without it creating the self-karma of guilt or shame? I seem to have this type of pattern repeating through the past five or ten years for me and I'd really like to break it somehow.

We see that is a helpful question that addresses the nature of resolution when it is valid. In this case, if one were to choose to compromise for the sake of keeping the peace and does not experience this compromise as an assault against one's being, but finds that compromise still does nothing, then the the point of Being Oneself is still intact, as it is clarified that no amount of compromise makes a difference, and that the issue was never about one's Being. From that space within the original resolution, it would be a matter of decisions based on what to do with these individuals, and not to do with oneself.

This may lead to another layer of Self-Karma because it might get to the Self-Karma one might have about who "should love me, no matter what." Do you endure the suffering within their presence as a means to receive potential love, or do you remove yourself from those people who should love you.

In short, it might move into issues about where love, and what love, is in your life. Is it more loving to remove yourself from the exhausting exchanges, or is it more loving to allow room for their lack of love for your presence as you choose to love anyway.

In most instances where one feels one must continually endure the presence of another while feeling exhausted and even damaged, then the question is not about love, but about Rights.

Could you explain further on your definition of Rights?

We will include our Map of Rights in the final transcript*, but as an example: every fragment has the Right to Love and Be Loved, and this Right is either supported or removed in the process of a lifetime. So it might be a question of whether those who refuse to love have more of a right to your love than you do?

Just curious about the obstacles to resolution of self-karma...what tends to keep us from resolving them? Are these obstacles different for the various soul ages?

The most-common obstacles to resolution are boredom, specialness, and crisis management:

Boredom is the result of rejection of Essence, and like a dog with anxiety cut off from his sense of resource, can chew off his own skin to keep busy with distraction.

Specialness is a result of rejection of Uniqueness, and spends all of its energy seeking constant external validation for any sense of value. Uniqueness requires nothing for it to Be; it is inherent. Specialness requires constant feedback.

Crisis Management is a result of rejection, or distortion, of one's strengths gained over the lifetime. It becomes far more familiar and routine to manage crises, or patterns of issues, than it is to use those strengths for managing the creation of the life, and new patterns of freedom.

Boredom is usually linked to Self-Destruction and Greed; Specialness to Self-deprecation and Arrogance; and Crises to Impatience and Martyrdom.

Put another way, Boredom often perpetuates Intellectual issues; Specialness perpetuates Emotional issues; and Crises perpetuates Physical Issues.

That is a generality, but it is fairly consistent, keeping in mind that there may be layers within a Self-Karma.

Could you give an example of Crisis Management in the final transcript? I am not sure I understand that one.

We can give an example now: It is much more comforting and familiar to, say, manage the trauma and pain caused by your struggling to accept an invitation where you feel your appearance will be scrutinized, than to simply go, or not. Crisis Management vs Life Management. Crisis vs Choice. Crisis vs Creativity.

Hello Michaels & Troy! Initially I wanted to ask WHY self-karma arises and why would we ever want to interfere with our own choices to the point of generating a divide, but I understand that the channel may be tired by now, so will ask instead if you could give an example of the most typical form of self-karma for an Old soul?

We can answer both: Why one generates Self-Karma is simple to understand if one does not see it as such an imposition, but as a process of learning that moves from the experience of duality and into the experience of a spectrum, or wholeness. In every instance of Self-Karma there is duality, and in every resolution there is a spectrum, or wholeness. Self-Karma generates from over-simplifying, and Resolution comes from embracing complexity. In every lifetime, every Personality is born an Infant Soul in perspective, and seeks to not only return to the greater perspective already reached in previous lives, but to exceed that. However, this process includes a process from Duality to Spectrum, so to speak, so none escape that process.

There is no typical Self-Karma for the Old Soul. If the Old Soul lives in an Old Soul world, then the Self-Karma might tend toward Spiritual issues as "typical," but otherwise, the Self-Karma tends toward the predominant Soul Age of the planet or environment.

However, for the sake of example, a "typical" Old Soul/Spiritual Issue could be said to be the resolution between the fact of the current Personality as it exists among all Personalities across time for Essence. Recognizing the profundity of how small one really is in the scheme of things while seeking to retain a sense of identity, contribution, and participation can be terrifying.

This is why we say that Old Souls learn through Terror.

As you explore your conscious connection to Essence, you will also be heightening your sense of self as a Personality. As you explore your sense of self as a person, you will make more room for Essence in your life. It is a two way street, so to speak.

In exploring yourself on either level, it is important to examine your "rights" as a physical being and your expression of those "rights" and/or the damage or interference to those "rights".

For each chakra, or Center, there is a basic "right" that the Personality must have tended to fully embody the Essence. We say "embody" as a convenience, as it is actually the opposite. YOU as Personality are embodied in Essence.

You most basic "right", relating to the Instinctive Center, is your right to exist, or be alive at all. The Right to be Real. This can also be said to be your right to "have".

Your second Center/Chakra must be examined in terms of your Right to Feel, experience intimacy, and create.

Your third chakra/Center is examined in terms of your right to take action, or to make change. Another way to put it is your right to be free.

Your fourth chakra/Center is examined in terms of your right to be loved, and to love.

Your throat chakra, or 5th Center, is your right to the truth, whether speaking it, or hearing it.

Your 6th chakra/Center can be examined in terms of your right to perceive, to have vision. This can also be said to be your right to dream, on all levels.

And finally, your 7th Chakra/Center is your examination of your right to spirituality, or your right to “inner knowledge".

Though we skimmed these, the slightest examination of these areas of your life can be revealing in what Centers/Chakras are not being cared for or possibly denied, thus blocking Essence. They may have also been damaged or imprinted with allowances from other fragments in the life.

The three "lower centers" (3rd, 4th, and 5th) are all the most obvious and easily examined on a daily basis. They are the keys to balancing Personality. In fact, these centers can potentially be examined with a degree of accuracy, at least as a starting point, in your translating your personal Centering in your Overleaves. When looking at your Centering it might be said that your primary centering is the Right you SUSTAIN, while the PART of the centering is the Right you "FIGHT FOR".

We remind you that Emotional Centering is your right to feel, Intellectual Centering is your right to speak or hear truth, and Moving is your right to act out or make change.

The Instinctive Center is always under examination and use so it is almost always in some form of distortion when without conscious guidance. This is balanced through creating a daily balance among your "lower centers".

The "higher centers" (2nd, 6th, and 7th) are keys to your understanding your connection to Essence. With examination, if any of these centers appear to be limited or distorted through fear or imprinting, it will be your task to incorporate experiences which fulfill that level of your rights, if you choose.

[Michael Entity] The fragment known as Mikao appears to be a Warrior-cast Priest who recognized the validity of subtle energies and their capacity for being harnessed and directed. The energy that is harnessed and directed is not unique to the practice called "Reiki," but that system does help bring tangible tools to the process of using the energy. The same energy could be said to be shared from the exchange of laughter, awe, and happiness or pleasure.

[Michael Entity] The modern system referred to as "Reiki" has become highly political and hierarchical in many circles, but we see that this has begun to deconstruct and return to its roots in many ways.  Both the political structure and this deconstruction have their flaws.

[Michael Entity] The political structure is a false hierarchy of learning that can bring about false healers who have gained credibility by simply paying enough money to buy a label.  The deconstructing of this political structure requires little more than reading a book and can bring about delusional exchanges of "healing" that are little more than nice thoughts.  Knowing the extremes of that spectrum, we would say that the only valid method for developing the strengths capable for use of energy in this way would be through practice, feedback, and tangible evidence of effect.

[Michael Entity] The energy that is used is the basic "life force" of your universe. This life force could be understood through the analogy of a computer screen that allows for a cursor to move through the pixels and light, showing up as itself wherever it is, but literally connected entirely to everything on that screen. "Reiki" then could be said to be that affect that allows for the repair of a pixel, or pixels, bringing light back, so to speak, to areas of the screen that have dimmed or have gone out.

[Michael Entity] In the same way that a piano can be played by any of you, so can Reiki (or energetic healing) be practiced. However, to continue the analogy, in the same way that one can simply peck at the keys, or pound on the keys to make noise, so too can some "healers" generate energy that has no effect, or only brings irritation. And in the same way that one can learn to play a piano beautifully on one's own, through an instructor, or through a hierarchical fee plan, so can healing be learned. The piano and the noise it generates is up to the player, and how that player learns to play is up to the player. It just so happens that "Reiki" has come to be a recognizable system, and for that matter can lend itself as a strong platform for the work that a healer might wish to do.

[Michael Entity] The Lemurians were a species that were of a finer density than your human bodies, and some may have remembered them as "etheric," or as having "Light Bodies," but they were more like the luminescent "jelly-fish" of your ocean. They were a sentience living through very delicate bodies and this lent them to isolation and insularity away from other species. Their process of cycling off would be akin to how you understand a reunited entity moving from the Astral to the Causal in its evolution.

[Michael Entity] Their species was few in number, relatively speaking, and their lives were of great length, structured tightly in groups, so that large groups would reach a point of cycling off at the same time. We say "at the same time," but we mean this in terms of relative perception of time; it could take several years for the exit of a group, but once it started, it was an exponential process. Some of our students who remember the Lemurians were deeply affected by the exit of the last of the Lemurian groups.

[QUESTION] So Ramtha was a jellyfish-like entity?

[Michael Entity] No.  Ramtha is a conglomeration of the channel's own higher self (Essence), her ego, and then some legitimate guidance by a cycled-off entity of Human sentience. We wish to point out that the conglomeration we describe as "ramtha" does not diminish the value of what is taught to those who find it meaningful.  It just happens that the Sage/King entity enjoys theatrics as their Medium.

[QUESTION] So, they weren't going through the Soul Age Levels while on earth -- but were more like using earth in an Astral-like manner?

[Michael Entity] No, they progressed in Soul Age as any other sentient species extant, but progressed in groups so that the cycling off for each was in conjunction with masses of other fragments.

[QUESTION] So we did have some interaction clearly, even if they were isolated?

[Michael Entity] Yes, there was a great deal of interaction between your species, but in measured and highly-structured ways.

[QUESTION] oh, so none of us ever actually had lives as lemurians?

[Michael Entity] Not that we know of.  To switch bodies in such a way is not something that is very appealling to sentience, unless there are hundreds of years of integration and communication between the species.

[QUESTION] Contrary to what Micheal teaches I feel that sometimes my guides tap into my future, sometimes seemingly to a future that just happens, please comment on this phenomenon.  Time is an illusion is it not?

[Michael Entity] What you experience is not in contradiction to our teaching, and we understand what you describe.  We refer to these as Sequences and Vectors.  These are events that, when lined up and feasible, fall like dominoes in a momentum toward an end. It is not predestination, anymore than a line of dominoes are guaranteed to fall perfectly every time, but the lining up, or the Sequences and Vectors, do tend to bring about fairly predictable paths.

[QUESTION] sequences?, please elaborate

[Michael Entity] A Sequence is an arrangement of Agreements or Events that create a pattern toward an end result.  A Vector is that "point of no return" so to speak, that is a mathematical momentum toward that end result.

[Michael Entity] Time is only an "illusion" when you are not experiencing it.  It is a disservice to pretend that the Physical Plane is void of the experience of Time.  If you have Emotions, you experience Time.  So while you, as Personality, must take your next steps in Time, your Essence does not have the same constrictions and can work to arrange probabilities in ways that are appealling to your Personality; that is, if the Personality is manifesting Essence. Even your Personality is not restricted entirely by the function of Time, as it has Imagination as a source for planning, memory, and choice.

[QUESTION] Good afternoon Michael; Yesterday evening we were discussing the "close but no cigar" meetings between concurrents. I would like you to elaborate on what occurs when one of your concurrents dies...does the Essence's other concurrents "pick up" where that one interests, queries, lessons etc "leave off" this lifetime,in other words sort of an assimilation?

[Michael Entity] In most cases, no. The lives of Concurrents are their own, and though Essence will absorb the experiences from all Concurrents, it does not shift the life of one onto the life of another.  There would be little point to that. However, in some cases the Personality of one Concurrent becomes aware of the validity of the concept of Concurrents and that can open that Personality to exploring the life of another Concurrent in some way, either through Imagination, or through bleedthrough.

[QUESTION] bleedthrough?

[Michael Entity] Yes, bleedthrough; a natural exchange of energy that comes from intimacy. In other words, it is no different than the experience of feeling resonance with a past life when that life resonates to a current life.

[QUESTION] a cosmology question - the Universe is said to be 14 billion years old.  Recognizing the problem with 'time', when were the cadres/entities 'cast' out from Tao in relationship to the creation of this Universe?  Before, during, or after? (I have been told my essence/soul is also 14 billion 'years' old -I am curious how this 'fits').

[Michael Entity] Cadres and Entities are cast over and over within a Universe with every return to Tao, which includes the choice of your Essence's new Role, new Entity, new Cadre, etc for every Grand Cycle. The measurement of time for that Universe and its first casting of Entities is always relative to the Planetary System of the Sentience at the time of such a question.

[QUESTION] the earth is said to be just over 4 billion years old so we were cast 'last' 4 billion years ago?  Where does the 14 billion 'age' come in? or was this in relatinship to a prior planetary system of sentience?

[Michael Entity] What we mean is that if we were answering this question for another fragment in another planetary system with a different measurement of time, we would have to answer with a very different scale.  In terms of time measurement as can be understood in any practical sense, we can safely say that your (and our) current Sentience is at least 14 billion years old, "give or take" a billion or so.  Keep in mind, however, that your ROLE may not be as "old" since you have returned to Tao multiple times in Grand Cycles.

[QUESTION] Since there are/were 3 of us present that are from Entity 6 of Cadre 2 may I have any Biographical information that you have easy access to along with perhaps a Theme or Task for this particular Entity?  If that question is too broad, feel free to pick and choose what you think may be helpful.

[Michael Entity] It could be said that a common denominator, or theme, among Cadre 2, Entity 6 is that of SENSITIVITY.  This Sensitivity can show up in different ways that range from crippling sensitivity to profound healing capabilities. This particular Entity is "touched" by life and experiences in ways that are often difficult to understand by other fragments. This particular Entity is often seen as the "open wound" of the Cadre, where the greatest traumas and extremes are drawn in by the fragments. This openness to life in such a sensitive manner can also lead to an awareness of subtleties that, when harnessed and implemented, can come across as works of "miracles" or profound transformation for those within proximity of that fragment's life.

[QUESTION] Since this is a 6 numbered entity, is that reflective in its Priestly energies in any way?

[Michael Entity] It is true there would be "priestly" qualities inherent in the dynamic of any Entity 6, lending it a deep Compassion or a strong Zeal. In addition to that mathematical dynamic, Entity 6 emphasizes the sprectrum of experiences between the negative pole of Connection and the positive pole of Harmony. In Connection, the fragments of any Entity 6 may find themselves in positions that pivot other lives, or that they may move from one support or social circle to another throughout the life, always drawing a line of connections among fragments or groups like a "connect-the-dot" exploration. In Harmony, the fragments no longer find themselves splintered among various parts of the life, and/or fragmented by relationships to various people in the life, but find that everything plays a part in an overall Harmony.

[Michael Entity] There is much more that could be said, but we feel this little bit will help add to the understanding of the dynamics of this Entity.

[QUESTION]  am wondering about alkaline water. I've been reading about adding alkaline drops to water or getting a water ionizer.  Is this just hype? Or is it a helpful, healthful concept? Water Ionizers, btw, are very expensive.  Do alkanization drops do similar things--if any? P.S.  I know our channel isn't thrilled with health questions.  But I trust his ability to step aside.

[Michael Entity] As far as we can see, most water is already alkanized to a degree that would have benefit, if benefit is valid.  We do not see that this is the case, but may often be just the opposite if the alkanizing is high. There are several populations already ingesting high levels of alkaline water on long-term bases, and we see this as having little effect in terms of improved health.

[Michael Entity] We think that this would be a matter of individual diagnosis in terms of an individual's "ph" levels, and that in those cases there are balancing remedies that might include alkaline drops, or antacid remedies.  We do know that "ph" balance in the blood is important, and that this is a function of the kidneys in a way that can be measured.  In that regard, it would be fairly easy to have a diagnosis, if it is of concern.

[Michael Entity] The consumption of various greens and vegetables as a large part of the diet can help to minimize the acidity of blood that can come with age. It is not that alkanizing of water (or diet) is not important, but that it is important only for specific individuals in the same way that any remedy would be.

[QUESTION] You've discussed "templates," and in an answer to me, you said, "Once that flexible template is in place, any Entity or Cadre can "play" the role for any group or individual as a means to teach, giving rise to a multitude of variations." You said you've played a role as both Ra and the Delphi Oracle. Are you using a template or playing a role when you work through channels at this time in your teaching history?

[Michael Entity] We no longer have to play roles or use templates, except through those channels who wish to speak on our behalf, instead of allowing us to speak for ourselves.  We do not mind, though. In those cases, it could be said that we are, in fact, using a template, but not in the sense that we were speaking about in your quote of us from a previous exchange. Our "voice" is just as valid among those channels who speak on our behalf, when the speaking is reflective of our teaching.

[QUESTION] How would you speak for yourself?  What would that be like?

[Michael Entity] When it is "our voice" vs the voice of the channel on our behalf, there is little discrepancy from the consistent build of our teaching, especially in a way that would identify a channel as unique to that discrepancy for any great length of time.  There will always be new additions to our teaching in a way that only one or two channels deliver initially, but the valid additions propagate. This does not mean that those discrepancies are not valid as their own teaching, or that they are in conflict with our teaching, but it is one of the ways for discerning the authenticity of our "voice," if that is of interest to a student.

[QUESTION] so is it just personal preference when we think something "sounds" more like you?

[Michael Entity] How we "sound" is far less important than what is claimed that we are saying.

[Michael Entity] We do have a kind of "check list" for validation of our voice through a channel that any student can use for navigating the various channels, regardless of what we "sound" like. We will include this in the final transcript for this chat.  This check list would be one that does NOT reflect the validity of the information that a channel is conveying, as the information may have validity of its own regardless of it's consistency or lack of consistency with our evolving teaching, but only as a means to discern the proximity and clarity of contact with us and our intentions.

[Michael Entity] Navigating the validity of channels and their proximity and clarity of contact with us can be complicated; we have "channels" who actually do not channel us but who speak consistently and accurately on our behalf, and we have channels who work directly with us who distort the information to such a degree that this information only serves to distract from our teaching.

[Michael Entity] The exploration of such topics as this can be "dangerous" territory for some, and it is not an exploration that can be undertaken accurately without a high level of intellectual and emotional maturity, as it can easily prompt the younger imprinting of hierarchy, competition, and conflict. When we say that it can be "dangerous territory," we are not speaking in terms of caution or concern, because with or without our suggestions for validation, the younger imprinting will find its ways into our circles of students. We were merely speaking to the concern that some may have about any process for validating the authenticity of a channel if one were to be in place.  There is great fear in that regard, though our students will eventually find it to be an important, and non-threatening process, at some point when the younger imprinting is shed.  In other parallels where we work with you, the process of validation is as important and as uncomplicated as validating a surgeon's claims.

[Michael Entity] Without the process of validation, the door is wide open for us to work with a wide swath of students and non-students, but it minimizes much of the potential for actual learning.  Without the process of validation there is also a consistent division nurtured among the various channels as certain groups form around the discrepancies that are unique to a channel, which then undermines much of the point of our teaching. Validation is vital on many levels, but only for those who choose for that to be a relevant ingredient in their process of learning and discerning.

[Michael Entity] Many have not considered the possibilities beyond the current courtesies that increase such variations and gaps among the channels.

A BASIC CHECKLIST for validating the clarity, consistency, and presence of Michael through a person claiming to channel Michael, regardless of the "voice" being used:

• We will never tell you what to do.
• We will never predict.
• We will never speak to you in ways that only seek to comfort you.
• We do not use affectionate language as a means of socializing, or as a means to appeal to you.
• We will never shame you.
• We will never do the work of your life for you.
• We teach a philosophy that naturally encourages study and practice, if that philosophy is going to be valid, but it will not do the work of your life for you, or make your life easier. Only your study and implementation of the teaching can do such a thing.

We do expand upon concepts that are often previously conveyed or interpreted as concluded, but this expansion is not a replacement or displacement, and will only add dimension that is consistent to the evolution.
• When we introduce a new aspect of our teaching, it propagates among our channels and does not become unique to any one channel for any great length of time.
• We do not make sensational, urgent, or conditional announcements.
• We do not do healing, or "energy work," as this is a form of interference and potential karma.
• We do not work with any other entity in any way as any means to communicate or convey our teaching.

• We cannot access private information about any fragment.  Private information in the Akashic Records is as private as the individual Personality deems it to be, until that Personality deems it otherwise.  Individual Personalities will always be the authority over their own information.
• Overleaves are not private information.
• Accessing the Akashic Records is part of our study, and your questions help us in that process.  You cannot ask your questions, or for Overleaves, too many times.
• We do not evade or avoid questions that seek to help a student in a process of validation.
• We do not require questionnaires, birth information, or photographs as a means to access your Overleaves; that is a tool for the channel, not for us.

Michael Entity: Hello to each of you. We are here with you now.

QUESTION: Will Michael please comment on Drunvalo Melchizedek's claims and the flower of life seminar about mass ascension into Christ Consciousness around 2012?

Michael Entity: We see this as yet another fantastical, yet attractive, interpretation of a rather insignificant, non-event for the sake of emotional and material capitalization. We say this as a matter of basic fact, and not to cast a negative light on such things. It is quite satisfying to many to have an imaginary end-point toward which to focus personal evolution, and 2012 has been co-opted, interpreted, and hung out as a banner of warning or hope by nearly every angle of spirituality. Simple questioning and investigation can often clarify these ominous predictions to show that there is no validity, so when one is quite willing to "play along" with these scenarios, one has determined that there is some kind of value in that game, or at the very least, a resonance to internal fears that are in need of addressing.

As long as calendars exist along with Young and Mature Souls within a population, there will be impending doomsday dates to impose dramatic descriptions for undramatic shifts.

QUESTION: Does that mean "ascended masters" did not create a Christ Consciousness grid around the earth and that there will not be a group "awakening"?

Michael Entity: We would not be so conclusive as to say "no," but we will say that this interpretation and imagery is rather embellished. Some fragments find theatrical imagery appealing, and the personifications help some to open to support from non-physical guides.

From many mythologies, templates are generated from the imagery and then fragments can use those to attract and funnel legitimate support, with entities and fragments playing the role offered by the template.

For instance, there is no "Zeus," or "Goddess" per se, but one can use that template as a funnel for Astral fragments and entities to work through. The "ascended masters" are another network of templates that are used by multiple Astral fragments and entities.  "Archangel Michael," for example, is not the same source for every group who works with that template.

These templates act as accessible, larger-than-life roles within a fragment's life that helps one to connect or resonate to support and forces beyond the immediately-tangible. Even the Judeo-Christian "God" is merely a mythological template.  We, ourselves, used the template of "The Sun God" in the Oracles of Delphi as a means to work with our students at the time. Once personification is involved with a non-physical teacher, or source, a template is born and up for grabs for people to use as a medium of contact with entities willing to play the role described by that template.

In some cases, that template is used as a means for housing the divided elements of the incarnated person attracted to it.  For example, our own name has become a template, and some who claim to channel us simply use that template to deliver their own messages and ideas in the hopes of validating their own perceptions, sense of value, while securing an audience and using the built-in credentials.

QUESTION: Speaking of fantastical, yet attractive new aged teachings, does Michael consider A Course in Miracles to be a creation for the purpose of emotion and material capitalization?

Michael Entity: We will say that there is personally-valuable information within Drunvalo Melchizedek's and A Course in Miracle's teachings, regardless of the validity of the information, and the use of highly-profitable marketing tactics. We merely responded with a random comment, as requested, and we do see the theatrics of 2012 to be purely for marketing, as that year has no significance in terms of any Mayan Calendar calculations.

QUESTION: In Michael's observation/experience are the dramatic descriptions used for the polarity shifts and the earth wobble simply exaggerations for undramatic shifts?

Michael Entity: Observations of potential, impending shifts, such as what has come to be known as "global warming," or "earth wobble," or "polarity shifts," meteor impacts, shifts in mass consciousness, etc, are valid to some degree, however, these kinds of events are not on a schedule that can be marked in any way that is predictable at this point, and most of these are shifts that would take longer than any single lifetime.

We will add, though, that because of the amount of emphasis on 2012 by such a large mass of consciousness, we do see a high potential for "something" to be significant, though it would most likely be interpreted differently for different groups, depending on their view of reality.

QUESTION: This will seem off the wall but I have a reason for asking it: I understand you do not predict so I am interested in probabilities. If an encounter had been planned in, say, oh the next 2 years by what would be considered to us "alien" in nature, it would seem like those plans would have already been put into place due to logistical reasons. Is there a high probability in say the next 2 years of alien contact here on Earth? If so, where would this species be coming from and what are their intentions?

Michael Entity: Alien contact has already become a rather substantial part of your world, albeit in ways that are not obvious to the population. There are many reasons for its not being a part of the world-at-large, most reasons being that it is illegal, so to speak, by standards set among traveling species. "Official" contact is with small groups and has a long-term goal that is intended for slow reveal and acclimation, but there are problems that continue to come up for that plan, moving the debate toward a sudden reveal as being more practical. The debate of "sudden vs slow" has been on the table for nearly 30 years, regularly stalled because of world politics that reveal the inherent dangers that already exist among humans toward each other, let alone toward an off-planet species. Your species is seen as extremely vulnerable and dangerous, and nothing in recent history has suggested otherwise to sway the debate.

QUESTION: Can you elaborate of the types of small groups?

Michael Entity: Though we described the contact with off-planet species as "substantial," we will clarify that it has been minimal in the "official" contexts. The debates are among the off-planet species. There are no regular board meetings with Humans.

The "official" contact has been made with military groups, as most already suspect.

Tests and observations will continue in the forms of "crop circles" and through observing your media portrayal in both fiction and non-fiction of off-planet species, and various other ways, along with the debate. Those most interested in your well-being are the same circle of species who helped relocate your species here long ago as a means to protect you from extinction.

Most of what we are conveying to you is incapable of being validated, so we do not ask you to "believe" us, as we do not ask this of you for any part of our teaching or sharing of our perception.

QUESTION: My question concerns overleaves on the Assimilation axis in general, and the Goal of Flow in particular. Michael have said that you can shift from the Negative Pole of an overleaf by using the Positive Pole of the complementary overleaf on the same axis. But with Assimilative overleaves, sometimes it can be difficult to figure out which Positive Pole would be most appropriate to consider depending on the situation. Is there a way to figure that out easily, especially in relation to the Goal of Flow?

Michael Entity: We would first say that the Goal of Flow would naturally gravitate toward that which would help lead to Flow, without having to be so strategic, so our first suggestion would be to look at your personal history of choices that led to a sense of freedom. This would bring some personal clarity to your natural process.

Next, we would suggest that when one wants to bring an awareness to the process of moving from the negative pole of an Assimilative Overleaf to the positive pole of another overleaf, you would ask yourself if your situation calls for ACTION, EXPRESSION, or INSPIRATION.

Once that question has been answered in a way that feels fairly accurate, then one would ask if the situation calls for a focused or broader (ordinal/cardinal) solution.

An easier way to interpret this line of questioning might be: Do I need to DO, FEEL, or BE something as a means to be Free? And does this require immediate focus, or long-range planning?

For example, with Observation: Do I need to DO, FEEL, or BE something as a means to see with Clarity? And do I require immediate clarity, or a higher clarity?
And finally, we would say that you could "throw a dart" at your Overleaf chart and any positive pole would be an effective path from the negative pole of your primary Overleaf. One CANNOT go "wrong" in choosing any positive pole for use in returning to a sense of True Personality and manifestation of Essence.

ALL Positive Poles are resonant with every other Positive Pole, therefore allowing a move from one Overleaf to another with ease.

QUESTION: Hello Michael, I know that several of us here today are Cadre 1 Entity 2, could you elaborate on how this cadre/entity is manifesting itself , what we are teaching in our current global community?

Michael Entity: Cadre 1, Entity 2 appears to be manifesting itself, as usual, in the struggle and implementation of Stability over Balance. Nearly every fragment from that Entity over the physical age of 20 has "pulled back from life" in a way that is figuratively holding Balance in one hand, and Stability in the other. All Entity 2s struggle within the spectrum between Balance and Stability, and eventually the Entity, collectively, "gets it" and a wave of realization moves among the members.

Currently, the majority of Entity 2 members of Cadre 1 appear to be in a state of limbo, unsure of how to go forward with Stability in "the real world." Withdrawing from life, so to speak, has given the glimpses of Stability that can now begin to make sense as feasible.  How to bring that back out into the world of "living life" still escapes most of the members currently exploring this.

What most Entity 2 members learn to do is the equivalent of placing two feet on a plank of wood that rests on a ball, teetering and rocking and rolling on that ball, feet planted squarely, and as long as one does not fall, it passes as Stability.

However, all energy goes into just staying atop the ball, and this tends to be exhausting, and most eventually "fall" (get ill, have an accident, move into crisis) as a means to just get some rest, because despite the fact that those experiences are often traumatic, they at least offer a stability that is nota part of life when balancing atop the ball.

Stability is when the ball is removed, and both feet are, figuratively. on solid ground.

We describe this to you as a process, and not as one way being better than another. Many Entity 2 members will gladly state how exciting the Balance on the ball can be, and the "falling off" gives life meaning.

Balance is a state that requires division within for the sake of managing the life. Stability is when the life comes into a state of wholeness that does not require compartmentalization, division, juggling, etc.

We know many members of Entity 2 are extremists. Extremism is a form of Balance, going from one extreme to another on a regular basis. All or Nothing. Eventually the realization comes that life does not have to be "all or nothing."

This spectrum of manifestation described for Entity 2 is not unfamiliar to many fragments who are not a part of an Entity 2, so this information may be applicable to you, regardless of your Entity number.  However, our descriptions for Entity themes do describe the inherent, condensed, and consistent priorities of an Entity within a Cadre.

Entity 2 of Cadre 1 is currently themed in the reality and implementation of "growing up," or being a "grown up," regardless of the age of the Personality. Stability, "growing up," and manifesting Soul Age, which has regularly been equated with something akin to death for many in Entity 2, is now starting to be seen as something appealling, even if that appeal is confusing.

The teachings of Entity 2, then, could be described as themed in "how to sustain and nurture innocence and joy along with the process of maturing."

Tom: Could Michael please comment on the experiences of Carl Jung as documented in his recently released “Red Book”? In particular, I'm curious to hear about how Jung induced the "active imaginations" as described in this book.

Michael Entity: Jung merely observed a natural phenomenon of the culture of beliefs that are inclined toward personification, and in observing this, sought to harness it. We do not see any particular method for his inducing active imaginations, though he does appear to have developed cues to help, but rather he allowed room for that natural tendency in his therapies.

Michael Entity: This was revolutionary to some extent since these factors were not given any validity before his theories.

Michael Entity: We will also add that our channel has not read the book in question, so our comments are limited to our access to, and interpretation of, Jung's records.

QUESTION: What are the 7 levels of 'true" mastery on the side of truth ???
...is there a group collective consciousness occurring, as, well, as, a
...collective consciousness of all the assortment of 7 levels of a fragment
...(where one can tap into going back to an infant - to the current manifested age,
...and, even forward to the ultimate return to the tao) consciously, and, unconsciously-
...as, if past-present-future and now, are occurring in The Pivot of The NOW ?

Michael Entity: The 7 stages of Mastery would be the same for all fragments, and this might be described as the process that is the set of Overleaves called GOALS, or in words that are more relevant, such as Focus, Refinement, Commitment, Flexibility, Affection, Meaning, and Embodiment. We also add that these are facets, not stages.

The experience of a fragment within the structure of Time can use "the now" as a pivotal point for accessing future and past, though not necessarily in any literal way. The experience of Time is an Emotional reality, so when one "goes back in time," one can affect the present by altering the interpretation an experience of the past.

It is true that there is "only the now," and that it is a pivotal power point. In our teachings, we simply use the word "choice" in place of "the now," as Choice is the active element in the experience of time, past, future, and present.

QUESTION: Hello Troy/Michael entity. I have a three part question that hopefully will be beneficial to the whole group. I had a personal experience not too long ago with the drug Salvia Divinorum. It is said that drugs like Salvia D and DMT take you to a "different dimension" and I was wondering what happened to me/where I went in my Salvia D experience, how exactly these type of drugs work, and if Michael believes these types of drugs (Salvia D and DMT) are beneficial to aid in the process of "spiritual awakening" because my experience with Salvia D definitely sent me down a path towards my current spiritual awakenings and also to the Michael Teachings. =)

Michael Entity: Banging one's head into a wall, or dancing on a mountain top, can also bring a spiritual awakening, so we see all elements of life as potential tools for growth, including drugs.

The drug in question appears to stimulate a combination that lowers inhibition and generates increased sensitivity to ones internal symbolism in a way that can be interpreted as "spiritual" and "safe" to explore. We see this as being a means to actively dream, so to speak, and those who actively explore dream imagery (without drugs) can easily share similar spiritual revelations.

The use of the drugs in question would be a path of exploration one must choose to explore on one's own, but we can only say that results would vary among those who choose it.

Drugs used for active "spiritual" exploration are often proportionally effective to the degree that one has become inhibited in the Personality. The more inhibited one is, the more profound the experience of the release from inhibition might be. In that regard, the choice to explore this option is valid, though one is never guaranteed a profound revelation by accessing what has become hidden. Often that access can be terrifying and even crippling to the life.

QUESTION: Years ago in another Michael chat group, there was a lot of discussion about a time in Tonga where there were lots of us Michael students around. While I could certainly relate to the appeal of a beach lifetime, was this valid? I've not seen anything about this since.

Michael Entity: It is valid that many students passed through that region in a group for a while as a means to explore Re-evaluation, but because of the nature of a simplified lifetime, it does not "register" high in the "memory" of a current Personality.

QUESTION: Would the Michaels care to comment on the channelings of Muhammad, since I feel that it's probable he was a channel rather than what is accepted as a religious prophet. I'd also welcome the Michaels' take on the Islamic mantra "Lakum dinnakum, wallya din" - "to you be your way, and to me be mine" in the context of the push for Islam to dominate the western lifestyle via the enforced implementation of Shariah law which, by Qur'anic implication, should simply be passively available to those who choose to follow it rather than being a requirement.

Michael Entity: This King-Cast Priest fragment represented the totality of one reunited Entity's perspective and was, indeed, a Transcendental Soul. We remind you that a Transcendental Soul, unlike an Infinite Soul, is still subject to Maya and Chief Features, and this fragment never rose beyond his Chief Features of Martyrdom and Greed.  The imprinting from Artisans and Warriors around this fragment from their wounded views of their position relative to authority, and their lot in life, began the distortion of the teachings that were originally intended for a rise in confidence among the weak, poor, and helpless.  The teachings began to attract those who resonated strongly to victimization and their fear of not having enough, turning the teachings into a path paved by resentment and defense, which continues to color the teachings to this day.

The mantra quoted might be one of the few moments of clarity from the Priest's entity, but even this mantra was corrupted with a force that best be summed up as an addendum of "....as long as your way is also mine."

Muhammad is one of 5 Transcendental Souls of the Common Era.  The only other Transcendental Soul, of the 5, who had any significant "positive" effect as intended was that of Gandhi.

[QUESTION] Tremendous amounts of seismic activity have occurred in the south pacific recently. What is the likely outcome of this? Does this portend something bigger to come?

[Michael Entity] As you know, we cannot and do not predict, but we can say that the pattern does appear to indicate one of two major directions: That these releases are helping to alleviate a massive plate movement, or that it is leading up to a massive plate movement. The Pacific Plate appears to be shifting more drastically in relation to the Antarctic Plate, due to shifts in temperature and water allocation. At this point, the potential for either direction appears to be equal. The reason we cannot predict the momentum in one direction or the other is because this is one of many factors that would be a part of a Global Nexus building over the next couple of years. In other words, one world would have a massive plate shift, while the other shows a decline in seismic activity altogether.

[QUESTION] Is it possible for what is happening to cause a slipping of ice off the Antarctic plate?

[Michael Entity] It would be nearly impossible, but not impossible, to have the ice cap "slip," at least in a way that is dramatic. It would more than likely require a meteor impact for that to occur.

[QUESTION] How are hive souls different from a human essence with concurrents? Is it the number of incarnations with a human essence having a much smaller number? Or is it a qualitative difference of the character of these different incarnations? Are hive souls also involved with soul levels?

[Michael Entity] Hive Souls are different because they are not fragments, and they are not Sentient by standards we use to define Sentience, which would be that one is in the final exploration of the Physical Plane as a Fragment who is evolving Self-Awareness combined with exponential capacity for Choice.

Concurrents could be compared to the dynamic of Hive Souls, except that Concurrents have no awareness of one another and each Personality is individual, whereas in Hive Soul dynamics, there is a constant awareness of "the hive," or "species central," so to speak.

We use the term "hive" because it is exactly what it is. The consciousness of each animal can come and go to that "hive" as often as necessary, and returns to that hive between lives, much like one might see in a bee hive, where all of the bees come and go as individuals, but always in coordination with one another, and sharing the same central home. In that regard, one could consider all of one's individual lifetimes as the "bees" to the "hive of Essence," but that is where the comparison would end, unless one were to look at the process of Sentience on a much grander scale, then Tao would be the "hive."

All forms of consciousness move through some organized process of evolution, but until the level of Sentience, those forms of consciousness can opt back out of the process and return to Tao, move to other planetary systems, remain in one level for as long as is desired. Once there is the leap into Sentience, the commitment is permanent in terms of evolving exponentially.

Consider an amusement park as an analogy:

All forms of consciousness can ride any and all of the major rides, as often as desired, and even leave the amusement park for other amusement parks, or leave the amusement park circuit altogether and go "home." However, Sentience could be compared to a massive slide that, once boarded, has a natural momentum that pulls one forward and completely to the end, with very little room for abandoning the momentum.

[QUESTION] How many essences do most essences choose to do many external monads with? Getting confused with what I've read, can't find much in depth material. I know we do them all at least once, and to get to the love monad you do a certain group of them with the same essence, and some choose to do more than one love monad. That seems like a lot of monads to get through. Also, I can't find any description of the love monad beyond the general experiencing agape, etc, and it's not necessarily a mate thing, could be other relationships, right? Is this something usually done with ET and/or just a few other close essences?

[Michael Entity] Most fragments tend to work in all of the major (classic) external monads in a way that leads to a Love Monad with at least 12 other fragments. Once the Love Monad is completed, this fragment becomes what we refer to as a Heart Link. Most fragments tend to develop at least 12 Heart Links. This may seem like a lot of external monads to complete, and it is, but keep in mind that many of these can be completed with multiple fragments within the same lifetime; many can be reciprocated within a single lifetime; and as Essence evolves and experiments with Concurrents, this adds more possibility for fulfillment. Over approximately 100 lifetimes or more, this is easily accomplished. Many fragments choose to fulfill external monads with those Essences most available and/or already linked, such as Essence Twins, Traveling Companions, the Primary Task Companion, and then those Task Companions who are added after the cycle begins. The Love Monad is not necessarily a final monad, but simply the Monad that moves two fragments into a final process of Agape. In other words, the committment to truly Love one another has now been made.

In that commitment, the Love Monad would show up as a commitment within the lifetime to "re-visit" literally or symbolically ALL Monads that have come to be fulfilled with one another. The reason for this is because True Love, or Agape, requires comprehension, and the Personalities attempt to truly grasp the magnitude of each other in the Love Monad. Most try to complete the Love Monad within a single lifetime, but we see that up to three lifetimes tend to be the average.

[QUESTION] Does this imply that the Love Monad occurs between fragments of the same soul age?

[Michael Entity] Yes, and rarely before the Old Soul cycle.

[QUESTION] Are the "classic" ones that full set of about 30 I've seen around various places, or a subset?

[Michael Entity] The "classic" set of monads have been listed elsewhere, yes, but we will also include those in the final transcript. [see end of transcript]* Though the classics are often preferred, the Love Monad is not limited to having only done the classics. Many Love Monads arise from including a few rather rare or original external monads. Once a Love Monad is completed, ALL "charge" between those fragments is neutralized. In other words, those with Heart Links tend to rarely feel more than soft admiration and embrace of one another.

[QUESTION] I'd like a little more insight into the whole enabling deal, [how to tell if you are an enabler, and what to do if you are an enabler].

[Michael Entity] There are various forms of "enabling," but the generality is that this is a state of passive or active contribution to the harm of another person in the guise of support. The most definitive factor in determining if one is enabling, or not, is if your presence is contributing to the harm of yourself, or to the other. We emphasize "PRESENCE," as it does not have to be an active presence, but can be a passive one, that helps contribute to the harm to yourself, or to the other.

Presence plus Harm equals "Enabling."

We will further define "Harm" as systematic or sudden reduction in the capacity for choice.

Putting all of this together, one can then help oneself determine if one is "enabling," if one's presence is actively, or passively, contributing to the reduction of another's, or your own, capacity for choice.

If one discovers enabling is in effect, the next step is, of course, to make your choice as to whether to continue enabling, which is a valid choice in itself, to remove oneself from that dynamic altogether, or to take action in a way that contributes to the return of choice for both parties. The key in your next step, then, would be CHOICE, which helps to counter all harmful effects of Enabling.

If one chooses to continue enabling after one has realized that is the dynamic, it will require a reduction of consciousness and a move into a division within the Personality. This is because, however regressive one's behavior can be, one's awareness cannot be unlearned. You now KNOW you are enabling, and you choose to continue to contribute harm. This will require a division within, as one part is fully aware, and the other part manages the habitual behavior.

However, that part that is aware will now always be there, and it will most likely not be able to be ignored, however habitual the behavior continues. This is why we say that even the choice to continue can help counter the effects of enabling. In a sudden moment, everything can change, now that this awareness is in place. In other words, many will continue to enable, until they simply cannot.

If you chose to remove yourself from the enabling dynamic, this leaves the other Personality to either find someone else to enable, or to find effective help, or to spiral further into his or her own demise. However, in a situation where one has not only become ineffective in bringing about healing and positive change, but has moved into a dynamic that is actually causing harm to both parties, then the choice to leave is not abandonment.

It is love.

For many fragments, the choice to step outside of the dynamic of self-harm that is generated by another fragment is one of the most difficult, and most loving choices, a Personality can ever make.

It is entirely counter-intuitive to step outside of that dynamic, and often it is met with devestating feelings, but it is a choice that is rooted in absolute love, not only in that it is countering the harm that is built in to the dynamic of enabling, but in that it is a trust in both parties to return to a capacity of choice that is higher than when together.

The choices made beyond that cannot be guaranteed to bring about beautiful results, but the capacity for choice is there.

Beyond continuing to enable, or removing oneself from the enabling dynamic, there is then the choice to take active measures to increase the capacity for choice for both parties.

If this choice is made, it does not guarantee that the one who was enabled will be receptive to this increase of choice, but as one is in a state that is decreased capacity for choice, it is a fair and legitimate choice of another fragment to "intervene," if possible.

Intervention may, or may not, be received, but the effort to bring this to the previously-enabled fragment's life is a valid choice, if you choose to do so, and if the resources are there to help you to do so.

[QUESTION] One wonders whether animals are happy in zoos, but on the other hand zoos are nowadays helping to save threatened species. Does the positive outweigh the negative?

[Michael Entity] On a small scale, there are a number of zoos where the impact is for preservation, sanctuary, and rehabilitation, and these zoos are fairly clear and open in that agenda. We see most animals in that scenario to find value in the experience as this contributes to their own evolution of consciousness. Anytime animals can be in close proximity to Sentience while capable of maintaining their own level of capacity for choice, much is gained. However, most zoos do not share this agenda, and simply exist as a business for generating city or personal revenue, contributing to the unnecessary confinement, capture, and harm of those animals involved. We cannot say that the positive outweighs the negative, but we can say that if one is concerned, it is usually obvious which zoos are sanctuaries, and which are businesses.

[QUESTION] So one can visit a sanctuary zoo with a clear conscience?

[Michael Entity] That would be a question only you could answer. We know that many can visit the most harmful of zoos and still have a "clear conscience," while others can visit the most beneficial of zoos, and leave feeling a deep guilt or sorrow. However, we can say that if one's concern is the comparison between benefit vs destruction, then those zoos focused on sanctuary, etc, may be more comfortable for the compassionate Personality. Compassion and consciousness grow parallel to one another, and are often linked with sensitivity. If one's consciousness and compassion has evolved to a point where these questions are important, and one feels that the participation in one zoo contributes to one's idea of good work, over the work of another, then the choice may be an easy one for that individual. For another fragment who is not emphasizing broad compassion and consciousness, then the choice may simply be as to which one would bring more personal joy or entertainment.

We wish to point out that we see all choices as valid, but in terms of contributing to the choices available to non-sentient species vs the reduction of choice for that species, we do see this concern as growing parallel to ones evolution of consciousness. For instance, one can easily remove the choice of a fellow Sentient fragment through murder in earlier lifetimes, but this eventually falls away as a solution as consciousness evolves. The same concern begins to extend to other species as that evolution continues.

This is not to say that an Old Soul will not, or cannot, murder, or that an Infant or Baby soul does not have compassion and concern for other species, but that the progression is fairly consistent in terms of your question becoming an important to the fragment.

[QUESTION] Hello, Michael. Based on the Teachings we've received so far, I cannot validate the truth of whether or not Cetaceans are an ensouled family of animals for a number of reasons:

...1) Michael has said that Cetacea are a transplanted group of Essences who are finishing off their Grand Cycles started elsewhere, but nearly gone extinct due to technological/civilization abuses. Also, their ensoulment started prior to humans.

...When did cetaceans first ensoul on earth?

[Michael Entity] About 40 million years ago by Earth standards of measuring time. The original line of species from the original star system were land and water mammals who would resemble something more like variations of swimming wolves that could walk upright.  The line of species on Earth that were used for continued ensoulment of the 3 Harmonies (about 5 million entities) was an Order that had some genetic history of land and water life, as well, but had become water-bound, with no appendages capable of environmental manipulation, and had developed the Intellectual Center to a point where a leap into self-awareness and capacity for choice could be ignited by the ensoulment.

...What was the average soul age level?

[Michael Entity] The average Soul Age at the time of the transition was early Young.

...Have they continued to start new infant souls?

[Michael Entity] Infant Souls stopped choosing these species millions of years ago, though 1 additional Harmony that had not begun its incarnations in the previous species joined the 3 who transferred, and those fragments know only Earth as their Sentient cycles. Most of the fragments who have become notorious in their curiosity and exchange with Human Sentience come from that Harmony.

...2) Cetaceans is a biological order, not a species -- just as primates is an order, not a species. The order Cetacea contains about ninety species, all marine except for four species of freshwater dolphins.

...Which species of Cetaceans are ensouled?

[Michael Entity] The concept of "Species" is a relative concept, and one that is not consistent, complete, or agreed upon, even within your scientific communities.  We use the term loosely, as it does have a fair amount of accuracy as a reference.  In terms of Cetacea, nearly all species are ensouled, except the various Families known as the River Dolphin.  Within the Cetacean world, "species" are experienced more in the way that Humans experience "Race," with no real differentiation between those Whales with teeth and those without.

...3) Michael has said that culture and social interactions are major parts of the evolution of humans' soul ages. The continual use of choice generates intense relationships, and karma. Civilization has grown out of a need to stabilize the effects of weather irregularities and to allow for surpluses.

...While I can understand that civilization may not be necessary in a stable environment and food supply, especially if one is nomadic, the impact of social interactions and karma seems necessary for soul evolution. None of the information about roles, overleaves, or even soul age level seem to apply to cetaceans. Nor do they seem to share a culture. Can you explain?

[Michael Entity] The vast variation of cultures among Humans, however foreign, frightening, or familiar, all share mediums that are natural to your species.  The same is true of Cetaceans who do not have the same capacity for manipulating their environment in a way that you would recognize their cultures, but in ways that are relative to their capabilities.  In many cases, there are common grounds, but even within that common ground, it may not be recognizable to Humans as a "culture" by Human standards.  Areas of culture that you might recognize would be in their dance, games, singing, poetry, families, story-telling, etc. These are areas that are handed down, taught, have become tradition, have evolved over time, and could be seen and heard by you for the most part, though it may not make sense to you.  Beyond these common areas, art is quite important to Cetacea and this is done in an arena that you might recognize as a telepathic, or psychic, arena.  Constructs of thought and feeling can be shaped in ways that can be transferred and shared among the various species.  Many of the larger Whales might be experienced as floating art galleries, as they tend to store and collect art.  Cetacea do not have religions as Humans do, but they do have their mythologies that could be said to be similar to religious mythology.  Most of their mythologies are consistent and shared across species, all being variations of their history of commitment to rise above harm and violence, to cultivate arts, and to find their way home to the stars.  Human mythology is similar, since Human Sentience was also transported from species off-planet, but Humans have turned their mythologies away from being a reflection of origin and intent, to being a process and mirror for dysfunction.

Soul Age, Levels, Overleaves, etc, are just as valid among Cetacea as they are among Humans.  There are instances when our students may recognize the validity of these factors in behaviors that are familiar, or as exchanges between Cetacean and Human.  For the most part, your question is similar to a statement such as "all Chinese look alike," when that statement couldn't be further from the truth.  That statement, as well as your question, merely reflects a lack of intimate experience with the individuals that make up that group.  We can assure you that there is a spectrum of personalities among Cetacea, from wise Whales and wise-ass Whales, and beyond.  As with any group of Sentience that has variations of bodytypes, cultures, history, current circumstances, etc, Soul Ages tend to gravitate toward one group or another.  For instance, in Humans the "Black Race" used to be primarily Mature Souls as slavery was imposed, and the fight for freedom and rights was building.  Once a fair amount of freedom was secured, Young Souls have now moved into that "race" as a means to take advantage of that freedom.  For many years, Servers found great value in building up the United States, but once the United States moved into a Young Soul paradigm, Servers shifted their population to China.  Now that Mature Souls, and a return of emphasis to family and support is building, Servers are returning to the U.S.  This same kind of movement of Souls and Soul Ages is within the Cetacea.  The species known as Orca are more exciting to the Infant  and Baby Souls, whereas the larger Whales are more appealing to the Older Souls.  Now Orcas tend to be popular among Young Souls, and this contributed to an entire entertainment industry on land with Humans, as these Young Souls rebel against their cultures and insist that they can be "stars."  Many of the familiar Dolphin tales of rescue and nurturing of stranded humans are Mature Souls, as well as the occasional beached, confused, or tragic incidences among Whales and Dolphins.  Whales and Dolphins drawn to Human exchanges tend to be Sages and Scholars. Of course, within all of this are the Overleaves.

In short, unless you are able to truly submerge yourself into another group, the things that you find familiar may not be found among that group, but that does not invalidate the reality of their souls or their cultures.

...4) Michael has said that the essential component necessary to a intelligent species to make the leap to sentience and ensoulment is imagination. Choice requires imagination and creative thinking. Whales, dolphins, and porpoises are generally deemed very intelligent, but there seems little evidence of imagination. Humpback whales display creative thinking in their use of encircling herring in a ring of bubbles that forces them into a ball for easy capture.But for all of the millennium that humans and cetacea have co-existed, none of the cetaceans seem to have much understanding or lore about avoiding human hunters. Cetacean language may include song but it doesn't include historical or teaching stories. The oceans are vast and unpredictable; they are not humans' natural element. Yet, they managed to hunt several species of whale to near extinction. How was this possible?

[Michael Entity] Humans hunt, enslave, murder, and torture EACH OTHER on small scales and large scales.  The fact that this can still occur, even with all that has come to be recorded and learned by your own species, does not negate your imagination, capacity for choice, and sentience.  The fact that Humans can extend this violence and impose it upon other creatures, does not, in any way, negate their capacity for feeling or suffering, let alone their capacity for choice, imagination, and sentience.  One of the primary motivating factors for Humans is Fear.  One of the primary motivating factors for Cetacea is Love.  In the same way that most Humans will gauge their options through a filter of fear, Cetacea tend to filter their options through Love.  This means that their "lore" and teachings are rooted in trust, open-mindedness, affection, and innocence.  Despite the fact that a Cetacean species may be hunted to the point of extinction, Cetacea will not give up the concept that there is hope for peaceful relations with every other species. In addition to this, their concepts of death are quite different from Humans', and their emphasis is on life and living moment to moment, rather than in a way that is entirely based in fear and preservation.  Keep in mind that this is a group of Sentience who destroyed themselves and the habitable status of their original planet.  They are simply not going to go down any path of choice that hints at war or fear.  This is not to say the do not experience fear, or choose fear, but that they do it in other ways unrelated to survival.

Every group of Sentience moves through cycles that could be described in terms of Overleaves, and for the past Century, Cetaceans have been in Spiritualist cycle, with Idealism before that. The new century cycle is one of Realism, and this may help temper some of the blind faith and naivety that has been a part of their societies for a couple of centuries.

Humans have moved out of a cycle of Cynicism and into Idealism, tempered with Pragmatism.

As for imagination, most of this you simply cannot see.  To insist that one species use the tools, or the familiar media, that another species uses as a means to determine intelligence and imagination, is simply an invalid method of interpretation.

...Additionally, since karma is created when sentient species kill sentient species, how will the karma be balanced between the whale hunters and the whales? Or even the tuna fisherman and the dolphins?

[Michael Entity] Karma is only generated if INTENSITY is generated on at least one side of the scenario and attached to the other.  With Cetacea inherently forgiving and naive, very little Karma has been generated.  In instances where Karma has been generated, it would be burned in the same way that you understand Ribbons to be burned among Humans.  This would either be a reversal of the scenario in another life, or a creative form of balance that is focused on rescue and saving lives.  In other words, for example, many Whale hunters from the past are now activists for their protection.

[Michael Entity] Hello to each of you. We are here. We will begin with Martha's question.

[QUESTION] I'm curious about how Essences organize concurrents these days, with so many, in terms of ETs, TCs, etc. Seems like a lot of threads to keep untangled, can't wrap my brain around it. It's not "normal" in human history to have so many concurrents as we do now, is that right? Confused and curious.

[Michael Entity] The "how" of organizing Concurrents is no less complicated than trying to explain the patterns of branching in a tree that is part of a forest; what you see as PART of the tree is, in fact, what IS the TREE. By this we mean the organization and branching is not complicated to the Tree, nor is the branching out in time and space complicated to Essence.

The leaf's understanding of how it can exist as itself among all of the leaves would always have to go back to the trunk, so to speak, and understand that its "individual" existence is PART of its entirety, not its entirety. And so it is with you, as Personality. You can only truly comprehend the vastness of yourself if you comprehend yourself as a FRAGMENT of who you are. It is not necessary for the individual leaf to comprehend the entirety of the Tree for itself to be "whole," and it is not necessary for the Personality to comprehend how Essence functions across and through time.

For those Personalities who wish to explore this comprehension, it can be done. Most of that comprehension would come through analogy and metaphor, but it can be done. For instance, the whole of who you are as a Personality is a fragment of your entirety in the sense that you think of as "fragmented." Most of you can comprehend the reality that your body is not just skin, or just bone, or just a finger, or a hand, or foot, or a tongue, or a cell. Your body is that entirety, though each of those things exist as themselves, too. "You" have no problem bringing your attention to your fingertip right now, or to the weight of your tongue, or to the tension in your cheeks under your eyes, or to your ears as you hear the ambient sound around you, etc. No part of your body ceases to exist by focusing on any one part, and "you" do not cease to exist, nor are you less-"real," when Essence is focused on other "you's."

There is an awesome order and structure to the universe and we are in the process of comprehending this on larger scales than even we suspected while living from the Physical Plane. To help you glimpse how your Essence manages all of the versions of itself, ponder how your body is whole, while being all of its parts, and then apply that to the larger patterns of your Essence's existence across time, through time, and among many bodies as parts of its wholeness.

For the more metaphysically adventurous: in the same way you know your entity members as individuals with whom you resonate and love and find, so is the relationship between you and other you's within your Essence. Your entity members are ultimately the same as you: just other versions our Entity. Your cadre again is the same, and so on.

All of us, are You.

On a more intimate and personal scale, "you" can also grasp how your Essence manages itself among so many bodies, concurrent, simultaneous, and linear, by seeing how easily you manage yourself through time. You do not exist MORE because you exist today vs yesterday, and you do not exist LESS because you do not yet exist tomorrow. You do not exist LESS when you are physically in an office, while day dreaming about lunch. You do not exist MORE when you finally get to lunch. You are simply where you are at the moment. It is the same for Essence, except the capacity for multitasking by Essence exceeds anything one Personality can do.

On a more practical level of understanding, some comprehension can be had when thinking of the Concurrents as similar to how one might raise several children at the same time. Your children exist independent of you, even while being your creations and completely dependent. You have the arcing agenda of nurturing for the children, as well as the specific attention to those moments and individuals who require it. Yet, on a whole, this is your family, a whole body in itself.

We realize this can seem a complicated line of thinking to comprehend, but we think what we shared here in these various ways of understanding can lend some insight to that reality.

[QUESTION] Hello Michaels, in the Sept energy report ..."September 5th through the 7th is a NEXUS for many of our students, but just as many will experience their Nexus at various points (individually) over the days between the 15th and the 20th. This means some may be the 15th through the 17th, while others may be the 16th through the 18th, etc., but most will be around 3 days....This Nexus is a Community Nexus, which usually means that this shift occurs in pockets of time close together that eventually "add up" to the collective shift of your community. A "Community" would be anyone remotely meaningful within your social or family circle. If you communicate with that person, he or she is a part of your community. This means that those within your more immediate circle would most likely move through the Nexus together, or close together. Keep in mind that having contact with someone is not the same thing as communicating. Not everyone with whom you have contact, even on a regular basis, is someone with whom you communicate (engage in meaningful exchange)."

Could you expand on this please,how has the energy changed from the May Nexus to now and how it pertains within this group?

[Michael Entity] Though we know Troy and other channels refer to our sharing of perception of patterns as an "energy report," which is a valid description, we can also suggest that it be seen more as an "emphasis report." Following that line of thinking, a Nexus could be understood as a pattern leading to a growing emphasis, or into a scattering of emphases.

In this case, with this month's Nexus, there is a scattering of emphases.

Nexus points occur regularly, so they are not magical windows of transformative change, though they can be experienced as such during some years. The emphasis, or energy, of May was focused on relationships, and issues of surrender, regret, flow, resentment, and an overall examination of how even the worst of experiences/relationships are contributing to your life in potentially beneficial ways. The emphasis, or energy, now is focused on your internal philosophy about life overall, and what you can DO about fulfilling your ideals, dreams, desires, etc.

How it pertains to this group is directly. Each of you are in some way participating in the energies/emphases of the world around you, so it would not surprise us if each of you are internally confronting yourself about your personal philosophy, or interpretation, of life and experience and self.

This internal confrontation is the source of the Nexus. The questions that have come up within you will align you more with some people than with others, and this is why it is a Community Nexus. Not only is the questioning happening individually, but along with many who feel the same way, and the outcome of this would be a clarity of direction individually, which adds up when in a group.

Most of you will have come to some sense of clarification about your life in a way that might be captures in the phrase, "I can do it!" and this would help to move you forward with an openness that draws you to those whose "doing" is compatible, supportive, and even directly and mutually benefiting each other.

Of course, the divergent aspect of this Nexus is that there will also be versions of you who say, "I can do it! But I won't." and this will move groups together in directions of mutual grief, defeat, and general boredom as the comfort in the lack of will is chosen over the effort needed to follow your will.

It could be said, then, that May was about grasping the fact that you are in a boat with others in a current that has others in their own boats, and that none of these can be completely controlled. September is about grasping the fact that you do have a means of steering, using an oar, motor, or even a stick if you have to. Just because one cannot control, does not mean one cannot navigate.

For some of you, it is exciting to find that oar, and for others it may be a disappointing discovery because steering is not enough, and you preferred the comfort of justified complaint and confusion and may "accidentally" toss that oar off the side. Some simply find the current to be fine as it is.

This is why we said in our report that the extent to which you determine the oar is of use is the extent to which your next three months might be relieved of the feelings of Impatience and Martyrdom.

Choice is always the "oar." Or more accurately: Choice is always the "current," and Decisions are always the "oar."

In terms of "cooperation" vs "isolation," we might use the words "wholeness" and "division," as "cooperation" implies an imposition. The only cooperation most need to be concerned with in a life is the cooperation among the various parts of oneself, or a sense of wholeness and trust, vs a sense of division and conflict within, with one "lazier," or frightened, or angry part dominating other parts. If you desire to DO one thing, but DO another, you are divided. Desire is your navigational alert to where all of you want to go, including Essence. And including the angry, lazy, resentful, and screaming, kicking parts, as well.

[QUESTION] Michael has said that some parallels were VERY different than others and won't re-merge back into the total until well into the Causal. Can you give me several examples where history went off on completely different tracks, besides the nuclear war that occurred in one parallel back in our mid-1980s? I was told that I have several parallels that will never merge into this trunk or branch until we've all cycled off. I realize that each parallel considers itself to be the "true trunk."

[Michael Entity] Not all parallels consider themselves to be the "true trunk." It is natural to live as if it is, of course, which is exactly how it is designed to be experienced. The older the soul, and the more exploration of this concept, the more likely the sense of such solidity begins to dissipate, which can make for some very interesting lifetimes for a Personality. When conscious awareness and observation of the literal shifts and changes in parallels are explored by a Personality, it can be terrifying and exhilarating. Much of what is experienced as discrepancies among parallels is ignored, briefly noted and then dismissed, or simply experienced as a private confusion.

[QUESTION] Schizophrenia?

[Michael Entity] In a very few cases, Schizophrenia might result, but that condition is more a result of an internal breakdown of communication among various sub-personalities assigned to different emotional components of the Personality.

In response to your broader question: there are a multitude of parallels that have spun off at various points in your history to become fairly incomprehensible to the Personalities experiencing "this" parallel.

Some of those examples would be:

1) Your world as a result of the North of America losing its Civil War, wherein slavery is still common, though with compassionate acts passed to protect the well-being of the slaves. The business of buying, selling, breeding, and exporting people has escalated to a scale fairly difficult to imagine or convey.

2) Another branch has emphasized a move away from all physical contact among people and focused on methods for sustaining that lack of contact, particularly through electronics, personal pods, and egg-shaped, stacked housing that holds only one person. "Families" are clustered together, but even babies are encapsulated upon birth and fed through a means that is built in to the pods. Procreation is done through laboratories and children are assigned.

3) Another branch has emphasized a taboo on "celebrity," which has become illegal. Those who gain notoriety beyond a certain population count face various forms of punishment, including death.

4) Another branch has never put to use anything beyond the use of natural elements as they occur naturally, or as close to "naturally," as possible, meaning that living is found in natural creations, such as caves, tree canopies, and some simple structures. There is no electricity and communication is only within shouting distance.

The examples can continue, but we can safely suggest that if you can imagine it, it exists in some form.

An aside: all parallels have access to each other through that single bridge: Imagination. Imagination is far more a tool than a novelty.

The examples we cited today are examples of parallels generated from various points for specific, pivotal reasons:

The first example is rather obvious and recent. The second from a point in time you might see as a time of the "Black Plague." The third originated from a Nexus around 2000 years ago as Christianity gained its footing and the taboo of self-serving positions in society were outlawed below the levels of the church, but another Nexus generated from a massive wave of suicides and stalker/murders in the 80s, merging into each other. The fourth from the impact of weather patterns not moving to any extreme to encourage nomadic behavior.

The examples could extend into off-planet contact and integration of alien populations, to a parallel where only 4 bodies remain of your species.

[QUESTIONS] Greetings Michael, my question is about the Internal Monads; following is from a private session with Troy:

"In fact, the completion of Internal Monads in the negative pole are vital to the process of evolution for the soul. Each Internal Monad will have a lifetime with a completion in the negative pole before a completion in the positive pole....A successful completion of a Soul Level means the successful completion in the Positive Pole for ALL Internal Monads within one life. This can take several lives to figure out how to build through each Internal Monad relative to that Soul Level."

Does every IM actually need to experience a lifetime apiece with each of the 7 IMs incomplete?! Any elaboration of this would be much appreciated.

[Michael Entity] Before the late levels of the Mature cycle, it is fair to say that there is a completion in the negative pole for each Internal Monad as part of the evolution. After the 4th Level of the Mature cycle, this is no longer a consistency. In fact, before the 4th Level of the Mature cycle, there are often a multitude of Negative Pole completions of an Internal Monad before a completion in the Positive Pole. We speak in general here, but this is of such consistency that it is fair to speak so generally. There are exceptions to this consistency, but no rules. It simply seems to be the nature of how Essence builds upon experience. Many have heard the cliche that says one cannot appreciate the light without having experienced the darkness, and this is true for most for a long time, but eventually this is found to be an absurd concept. Any child can tell you that he or she does not have to drink soured milk to appreciate ice cream. And so it is that most of you eventually find your means of comprehending that does not require such fracturing, such pain, and struggle as a means to experience wholeness, joy, and ease.

[QUESTION] In the later mature, and old cycles, is it necessary (usually) to have many lives to process the first 3 IMs?

[Michael Entity] The variations after that point are across the board, so to speak. The variations become a matter of creativity, and not confined to any default. This is because the "negative pole" is experienced differently than before. It is not always experienced as a "bad" thing, or a painful thing, but as a matter of experience that brings as much benefit as any other, and it is not avoided anymore than it is preferred. It is simply a matter of choice, or a matter of allowing room for Personality to go as "awry" as it chooses. Some of the most exciting and creative adventures have been experienced by Essence through the Personalities who were the most "rogue." However, the negative pole does not always feel so great to the Personality. In older soul Personalities that are most rejecting of Essence, the Personality always suspects "something" is not quite valid in that rejection and keeps an eye open for Essence, which allows room for Essence to help navigate within that lifetime.

[QUESTION] Hello, Michael. You have begun to answer these questions in many ways throughout this chat. Perhaps, though, you could elaborate more specificaly. 1) Are you aware of another mid-causal teacher who calls itself Abraham? They teach about the law of attraction and how we create our own reality/experience. 2) How do your teachings about karma and essence choices relate to their teaching? They teach about how we create our own reality through our vibrational offering and how we can control much of what comes into our experiene by guiding our thoughts in a certain direction and paying attention to how we feel. They teach that what shows up in our experience is always (without exception) a match to our vibrational offering. My main question is 3) How much can we "control" from this PERSONALITY perspective? For example: if essence wants to learn lessons about poverty, would I be able to co-create wealth by my conscious, NOW focusing of my thoughts and attention?

[Michael Entity] In response to your questions:

1) yes, we are aware of this entity, who acts as a "channel" themselves for other entities. The entity who is identified as Abraham is of the Astral Plane, however, and acts as a medium for Causal Plane entities who are the source of the teaching.

2) We find our teachings dovetail quite well with the source of Abraham's teachings, but we see some of that validity is lost in the translation through the channel and furthermore in the reception by the students. The emphasis on emotion and feeling is an emphasis of the Astral entity who is learning all about the dynamics of emotion on that plane, so that entity is teaching what it is learning, but leaving out some key elements that the Causal sources are offering. The emphasis on "vibration" is an Astral teaching, because that is the direct medium of experience in that plane, but this is a difficult and rather intangible term for most to find useful to any extent while Physical. It often leads to frustration and further division within the self as it seems this should be such an easy concept to harness and use. This is not to say that many do not "get it." Many do. But those who truly grasp the teaching also grasp the limitations.

[Michael Entity] In answer to number 3: you have COMPLETE control over your lifetime as Personality. This is said, of course, with the caveat that "complete control" is meant in terms of CHOICE, and choice is often confined to certain parameters imposed by the nature of the Physical Plane, and the impact from others who choose to impact you. However, Essence NEVER imposes. Essence does not impose a lesson of poverty, for instance. Instead, it learns from the choices of Personality when those choices lead to a life of poverty. It is true that Essence may be curious or want to learn about poverty, but it does not impose those lessons. Essence may choose to be born within the conditions of poverty, but from there, the Personality is in control. Everything leading up to the first breath is the choice and creation of Essence. Beyond that first breath, everything is a result of choice made by the Personality.

The entire concept of "lessons" is a misnomer, by the way. Essence does not impose lessons, and neither does the universe, god, or any other force. Instead, "lessons" are simply what one chooses to gain from an experience. 20 children can be in the strictest of classrooms with the greatest of impositions to learn a certain subject, and all will leave having learned something varied, even if all of them can now add 4 plus 4.

You can create what you want with this life, within the parameters of what tools you have, what tools you gain, with your intentions, with your call for help and your openness for support, and your use of energy in a direction that is aligned with your desires, and your willingness to deal with the obstacles that arise from within and without.

[QUESTION] What are some of those key elements that are left out of Abraham's teachings?

[Michael Entity] What is missing is too much to explore here, but can be summed up in being the Causal aspects. The equation of creation that requires Cause, Force, or Action to be a part of it. The emphasis from the entity known as Abraham focuses on vibration, thought, and feeling, with some emphasis on doing, but the doing is then stripped from the teaching in the recipients' interpretation as they are left presuming that reality is created merely from positive feelings and proper thinking.

For those who realize that reality is not simply something you wish into existence around you, but is one that is generated from your force in the world that is generated through your acts of choice, and your choice in action, then the teaching can be of great use.

[QUESTION] Are there any karmic scenarios that would make it difficult for personality to create what it wants?

[Michael Entity] In answer to the reality of karmic scenarios making it difficult for personality to create what it wants: Yes, that is the nature of Karma, which is not only the interference of choice, but the intensity generated from the reaction to that interference. However, as the soul ages, some of what would have been a most karmic scenario simply becomes just another thing. For instance, in early lives if one were to lose his legs because of the impact of choice from another, this could effectively "end" the life and all of the intentions of Personality, but in later lives, this would simply be an obstacle that is tended to on the way to fulfilling those intentions and no Karma is generated. Of course, murder (the most extreme Karma) is difficult to overcome in terms of being able to be overcome by the Personality, so those Karmic scenarios are explored long before the concept of "creating reality" even comes into conscious possibility of a Personality. In other words, in most instances where Karma is the interfering force that limits the intention and choice of a Personality, they are experienced as part of the haphazard navigation of that Personality through a life, but when the Personality begins to conceive of creating reality from choice, vibrations, feeling, thought, to an extent that could be considered "metaphysical," then that Personality is usually beyond the influence of Karma to the degree that it could hinder all choices.

[QUESTION] Thank you . Right now we are in a period of 'mercury retrograde'. All sorts of problems/issues involving communications, electronics, transportation, etc. are blamed on 'mercury retrograde'. How much, if any, does the 'appearance' of a planet revolving in reverse direction around the sun really have? Is this a real influence or is this a case of 'finding something because you are looking for it'? Or do we 'create' these incidents by our expectations?

[Michael Entity] In the same way that our Energy Reports could be read at any point in the year and find some validity, so can the symbology of Astrological influences. Planets are symbolic representations of general emphases, but they are not literally the causes. Electronics, communication, and transportation issues can be found at any point in the year, as can, in our case, issues of emphasis represented by Goals, Relationships, Attitudes, etc. However, observing syncronicity among patterns, and extracting meaning from those patterns, is valid and an evolutionary perception. In other words, while Mercury does not cause electronic or communication issues, it does symbolize the period of time when awareness toward those areas of life can be most clear. Our Energy Reports do not tell you what will happen in your world, or what is causing it, but what is most obvious and capable of being explored with some amount of clarity, based on valid patterns we perceive.

[COMMENT] Ok, so we 'find' those incidents because we are 'looking for' them

[Michael Entity] Yes, to some extent that is true; the patterns of clarity in observation of those breakdowns coincide with the movement of the planet, so that "more" of them seem to occur during that time, but more did not happen, it is only that more of them are seen.

Keep in mind that the symbology of Astrology is ancient, and the patterns were adapted long ago. This would be true of most planetary systems with different planetary configurations. "In the beginning" these forces were not as aligned, but as observations began to be noted and shared, the Sentient species begins to use the planetary configurations as a kind of clock that will extend through the existence of the species. Planetary configurations, or Astrology, could be said to help with the bridging between Essence and Personality in terms of "keeping track" and planning. The first place this is utilized is in the Body Types, as your Body Types are generated from planet closest to the midheaven upon conception of your body.

[QUESTION] and that is more than 'coincidence' or just coincidence, that the patterns leading to those breakdowns coincide with the movement of the planet?

[Michael Entity] We would not call any significant connection between the symbolism of Astrology and your real world experiences as being merely coincidence.

[QUESTION] so the patterns are not caused by the planetary positioning but have been aligned in human thought to take advantage of the planetary positioning?

[Michael Entity] That is close. We would not contain it to human thought, though. It would be more an Essence perception. It is a momentum that is utilized effectively. The clock is turning, so to speak, and Essence has learned how to use that clock for various aspects of creation of the life, Agreements, Karmic patterns, and potentials of Personality.

Though this is extremely simplified, think of how the Sun comes up every day and how one times his or her life to work with that cycle. It is not that the Sun causes your day, or your experiences, but one does know that one can see better during the daylight, find sync with more people actively during the daylight, and rest, or play in the night. The Sun does not decide this or cause this, but it is used as a means to emphasize certain areas of life. And so it is with all of the planetary "influences." Mercury does not cause the breakdowns of electronics and communication, but it has been assigned as the symbol and pattern associated with your species exploration and emphasis of what it symbolizes.

It is known to some that the more one truly studies Astrology, the less the influence is seen. This is similar to how one can find one is ruled by the momentum of the day's clock, or eventually see the clock as simply indicating opportunities and potential, but it is never the influence in itself. The recognition of patterns is a Higher Moving Center positive pole of Beauty, or Energy. As one recognizes patterns, one begins to comprehend that the current pattern is within other patterns. From the most personal level of omens and signs to astrology to "Michael Math" and beyond, the patterns are valid and exist.

[Michael Entity] We can discuss this further as this then moves into discussion of fractals and their place in understanding the nature of reality.

[QUESTION] What benefit is studying the Michael teaching now - from the point of view of future lives - if we shall presumably be completely ignorant of it then? In rare instances it may have helped to deal sensibly with a karmic etc. situation, but otherwise it seems to be mainly theory for most, and thus forgotten after this life.

[Michael Entity] We cannot predict how a future life of yours will see a past life of itself, or what a future Personality will allow into its life that was gained from the comprehension you gain in this life, but we can say that the effort to gain comprehension of your life is not a wasted effort, because the concern is not about the future life; it is about you,now.

Reincarnation is valid. Simultaneous (parallel) lives, Concurrent lives, Past lives, and Future loves, even "adjacent" lives (which we have barely begun to explore with our students) are all valid, but these have no bearing on what you choose to do for you. Now. In this life.

No matter how many lives your Essence lives, this life is yours. It begins and ends in a profound way that is unique only to you and what you do between those points is your choice.

However, in terms of how a future life might benefit from what you learn in this life, we can only use you as an example of a future Personality of your own Essence's past. You found us again. You are studying with us again. And you are using what you learn again. You found us faster in this lifetime than in other lifetimes, and you call us by a more accurate name this time. From our perspective, what "you" did as "Madge" or "Buford" in your past is clearly showing up as part of what "you" are building upon in this life. But we would also say that for most, this claim would mean little to the current Personality.

[QUESTION] The teaching is mostly just words.

[Michael Entity] The interpretation of our teaching as being merely words is a matter of interpretation and application. Some of our students do not choose to apply our teaching, but simply choose to study it, or explore it. For those who apply it, our teaching becomes something very different. All interpretations are valid, as far as we are concerned. We find the truth to be that "everything" is theory, or just words, until it is applied.

Keep in mind that many children sit for hours in classrooms learning subjects that are of little interest or understanding of their real world application until they are in situations where that learning is activated and applicable within context. Learning CPR is something many may never have to apply, but the learning was not lost, nor was it merely "words," simply because it was not necessary to apply it somewhere in the future. Many things learned may never have any bearing on your current life in the end.

For many of our students, the exploration of our teaching is a wide net that catches what might be used, and a lot of what might not be used within the current lifetime.

We can only say to you that what you choose to explore, study, and/or apply is always added to Essence's knowledge, but we will never be able to "prove" this to you, and we would not wish to, anyway. What we wish to emphasize is that you have a choice. A choice in what to explore, a choice in what to apply, and if the power of your choice is the only thing any of you ever learn from us, you have learned what we came to teach.

The rest of our teaching is simply our suggestion of tools for how to utilize Choice.

[QUESTION] Are there 7 or MORE different types of kingdoms operating on earth -- ie; humanoids, elementals, faeres, angels, etc., and, blendings of them & if so, is this connected to DNA; or what are the 7 kingdoms on earth at this time; like minerals/plants ? etc., it would be nice to know more about this earth, we have all chosen to share together; without plants - we can't breathe, without minerals-we do NOT have good health - so; we must all be interlinked, in some way.

[Michael Entity] What we describe as "Kingdoms" are the levels of development of chakras, centering, and sentience within various groups of lifeforms within a planetary system. There are, indeed, 7 Kingdoms. The association of "elementals, faeries, angels, etc" are seen a bit differently from our perspective, but there is some validity within these more mythical interpretations.

Ocean and Mineral Kingdom; Vegetation Kingdom; Insect Kingdom; Cold-Blooded Kingdom; Bird Kingdom; Lower Mammal Kingdom; Higher Mammal Kingdom. These are the 7 Kingdoms of Earth's Physical Plane in terms of sentient development and exploration. For each Kingdom there are a multitude of Energy Rings, Cadres, or Entities working within those Kingdoms as a form of support, creativity, and direction for that kingdom. All Sentient Humans have explored each of these Kingdoms before incarnating into the Human cycle of lives.

In earlier stages of a planet's hosting Sentience, the Energy Rings, Cadres, and Entities managing these Kingdoms are far more obvious, especially when Sentience is living closely with any one of those Kingdoms.

These Energy Rings, Cadres, and Entities managing the Kingdoms are not taking form, but exploring or directing the development of that Kingdom, and when sensed by Humans, are often interpreted into mythological forms.

So while we would not say that there is a literal line of faeries or elves or elementals, we would say that these interpretations are not wholly inaccurate to how the non-physical energies work within a Kingdom. Human imagination fills in the more elaborate, magical parts to account for the lack of practical understanding. However, we would say that the imaginative stories serve a practicality in itself, in that it hands down a personification of these energies so that Humans can work with those energies in a way that "makes sense" to them.

As a planet's dominant Sentience matures, and the influx of new Sentience slows or stops, so does this network of forces that nurture your planet's kingdoms.

At some point in every Sentient species' development, these forces stop taking care of the planet, and the dominant species must then do the work of caring for the planet. It is not unlike the way your own bodies are cared for by forces greater than your own until you reach a certain age, whereupon you must then take care of yourselves.

To that point, we say that the realms of faeries, elves, elementals, angels, etc., (however you interpret these forces) are waning, and the shift of responsibility is upon your species now to pick up that line of care and nurturing for the planet and its Kingdoms.

[QUESTION] What are the 7 levels of the mind?

[Michael Entity] If we define "mind" as that realm of cohesion among all bodies (emotion, intellect, moving, and the higher counterparts), we would could then describe these 7 Levels as:

Tangibility; Symbolism; Comprehension; Transition; Telepathic; Intuitive; Wholeness.

These 7 Levels could be described many ways, but these are the words we can get through this channel at this time. We will elaborate a bit on each, as well.

Tangibility might be the level of Mind that brings cohesion through what can be touched and is tangible.

Symbolism might be the level of Mind that brings cohesion through interpretation of symbols as represented in events, patterns, and behaviors. Dreams might be included here.

Comprehension might be the level of Mind that grasps the concept of probabilities and the true impact of Choice.

Transition might be the level of Mind that that brings cohesion through grasping the patterns of the past and how this contributes to the present. The level of Mind that can change directions and pivot based on what has been learned to date.

Telepathic levels of Mind might be the cohesion that is brought through the recognition and application of the 3 levels of Truth (personal, global, universal) as a means of connecting to other Minds.

Intuitive levels of Mind might be the cohesion that is brought through the transcendence of logic and reason, to the direct perception of the larger contexts of any situation, event, or people.

Wholeness levels of Mind might be the cohesion that is brought by the capacity to absorb, adapt, and embrace any variations on reality, experiences, and directions brought about by the self, others, or the free-unfolding of life.

[QUESTIONS] Is Tangibility also what one might term "creating reality"?

[Michael Entity] We would agree, though this phrase could be said of any level of Mind described above. Specific to Tangibility, it might be said that Tangibility would "create reality" through the limitations of what one can DO with what one HAS. To put that another way, it could be said that Tangibility is the level that says, "I can create with this hammer because I have a hammer" whereas another level of Mind, such as that of Comprehension, might say, "I can create with this hammer, but I can also get a saw and drill and materials so that I can create even more."

The average fragment extant is now in Transition levels of Mind. Our average Student is in the Telepathic levels of Mind.

[QUESTION] Hello Michael. Can you talk about the difference between Faith vs. Trust, particularly in regards to Life or "The Universe"? Michael says blind Faith is a negative pole thing, but I have trouble seeing how Trust in something as intangible as "The Universe" is not the same thing as Faith. Please elaborate?

[Michael Entity] We see the difference between Faith and Trust as vast. Faith inherently asks of you not to question, and further to turn a blind eye to any discrepancies between what you expected, intended, or wanted vs what you experience. Trust, however, is based in experience that has already been gained, and allows room for questions and redirection from the less-desirable.

This is not to say that people will use these words in the same way that we define them; in fact, many use these words interchangeably, with Trust being the more "new age" replacement for Faith.

There will always be steps forward into the unknown that require Faith or Trust, depending on your preference. However, Faith would be a free-fall jump into the unknown, whereas Trust would allow for you to use tools that are familiar to you, and allows for a discerning eye along the way.

In short, Faith is resignation; Trust is participation.

[QUESTION] Yes, I suppose my question has much to do with how to "Trust" the unknown.

[Michael Entity] If you are moving into "the unknown," then the Trust that one can pull up would come from experiences that are relevant to the current step into this unknown.

For instance:

The unknown may be lying ahead, or around you, but it is almost certainly the case that you have stepped into the unknown in your past, as well. Trust, then, could come from the fact that you survived the unknown before, so it is possible that you can do that again. Trust could come from the fact that despite your steps into the unknown, you know of resources for support and guidance that can help you along the way. Trust does not ask you to hope for the best; it allows you to help create the best, as best you can, if you choose to do so.

Keep in mind that Surrender is also a form of Trust, which is the recognition of forces larger than your capacity to control, but you know you can do your best to navigate within those forces. For instance, you may not be able to stop a hurricane, but you can Trust that you can do what you can do to protect yourself in that context.

[QUESTION] This may be a long shot but I thought worth it if Michael can comment on it, otherwise, you can move on to the next question:

I would be interested in Michael's thoughts on something known as the webbot project run by Cliff High at www.halfpasthuman.com. This project appears to have the capability of taking a sampling of the global consciousness and predicting future events. Is there something analogous to a bow shock wave which travels forward and backward in time as a result of major future events that can be picked up on by our global consciousness in the present which permits us to glimpse these future events before they happen? If so, is this due to an awakening in our consciousness as our Earth passes through the galactic plane and its exposure to higher energies?

[Michael Entity] As consciousness grows, so does the capacity for recognizing patterns. As the capacity for recognizing patterns grows, so does the capacity for anticipating patterns. As the capacity for anticipating patterns grows, so does the capacity for defining patterns. As the capacity for defining patterns grows, so does the capacity for altering patterns. As the capacity for altering patterns grows, so does the lack of necessity for recognizing, anticipating, defining, and altering.

With that in mind, we would say that the theory is fairly sound, as you describe it, though we would not attribute it to any effect from a "galactic plane" or "exposure to higher energies." It is simply a matter of evolved learning and observational capabilities.

Your Species no longer throws rocks at the moon during an eclipse, or spears at thunder, not because of some cosmic shift, but simply because eventually someone realized it was silly to do so.

By extension, the patterns that are in effect that can be observed in collective consciousness are real, and while the capacity for recognizing, anticipating, defining, and altering these patterns are at various points of development among you, Humans are well on their way to predictive capabilities that would be on par with weather reports. They would need adjustments and updates as each moment/day passes, but could be fairly accurate to a similar degree that weather reports are accurate.

Once the patterns of consciousness are found to be legitimately and relevantly connected to patterns of weather, Humans would reach a new paradigm of awareness about the future, past, and state of collective consciousness.

[QUESTION] In MFM, it was mentioned that Carl Jung was one of the “mavericks” of psychology in that he incorporated “mysticism” into psychology, which so few westerners given credence too. Of course there are many schools of psychological thought regarding counseling individuals. Psychoanalysis, cognitive behavioral theory, humanistic/existential theories are but a few examples. Given that psychology, at least in the west, is still so concerned with “measurable” scientific facts, how can one really tap into the ‘spiritual’ while still being “accepted” by the scientific community? Of course, assuming this is possible, or even desirable for that matter. I know of the work of Viktor Frankl, Ernesto Spinelli and the aforementioned Carl Jung; but it seems they are still largely disrespected by the psychological community. Can Michael provide insight into this topic? For example: who are the “psychological mavericks” of the 21st century who are (or may be in the near future) on the cusp of making real progress on the process of counseling the WHOLE person, spirit included, rather than merely some fragments (no pun intended) of the personality that most of the “scientific” theories like psychoanalysis and cognitive behavioral therapy seem to emphasize? I realize this is several questions in one, so it should be noted that I’m not looking for specific answers to each part as much as I am looking for concepts or psychologists to investigate regarding spiritual counseling or what is also called existential or phenomenological psychology, as I feel that counseling one while incorporating the spiritual can potentially do more lasting good than a lot of what passes as psychological intervention currently. Of course this is all speculation on my part, but was curious about Michael’s input nonetheless. Sorry for the lengthy question; tis the curse of my scholary-ness I think.

[Michael Entity] In terms of practice, there are many who incorporate "spirituality" into whatever method of Psychological Counseling they use, as long as that spirituality is translated into useful terms for the one being counseled. Others incorporate spirituality in a way that is simply an undercurrent within the terminology of the psychological method. For most who truly wish to help another, it is nearly impossible to avoid some form of spirituality, though it is useful to keep this to a minimum until the more tangible elements of the psyche have been explored.

Though this channel is limited in terms of psychological theories and descriptions, we can say that Gestalt Psychology is close to "spiritual" within the limitations of the psychological field.

We will add that as the Mature paradigm settles in, so would the expansion of concepts within the realm of Psychology. For now, if one were looking for counseling, we would suggest being less concerned with the method, and more concern with your resonance to the individual counselor.

We would also add that this division of spirituality from counseling goes both ways, so to speak, in that if one were to go to a proclaimed "spiritual counselor," the more tangible elements of the psyche might be ignored just as smugly as the less-tangible are ignored in Psychology.

[COMMENT] definitely true, and there is certainly plenty of literature about the more tangible aspects.

[Michael Entity] Those we might consider to be "mavericks" are publicly unknown to at this time, but if all moves forward as intended, would most likely rise to awareness within the next 20 years or so.

We can also suggest looking back at our 7 Levels of Mind. You would see quite clearly where any psychological theory or method might fall, and this would give you a fair gauge of the higher levels of counseling or theories that might be available.

The "mavericks" we see who may move psychology forward to include higher levels of Mind, if you will, would be those who move the field to embrace the Telepathic levels. Currently, it appears to us that most theories and practices remain at Transition levels and below, which do work for most.

[Michael Entity] Hello to all of you. We are here now.

[QUESTION] Michael. This may seem terribly "basic;" however, due to discussions amongst students, I've become confused about how the various Soul Age Levels apply to Essence's growth and development. When Essence first starts incarnating as an Infant soul, is it actually an Infant soul that then grows and develops as each level is achieved? In other words, do completing Internal Monads in positive pole, Soul Level, and Age, apply to Essence's development? Could you please clarify?

[Michael Entity] We think we understand your question and will attempt to respond appropriately.

What we would remind you of, first, is that what evolves is the ROLE in Essence. We realize that the terms "Essence" and "Role" are used interchangeably, and fairly so, but they are quite different in technical terms. Much like your Personality and Essence are truly "one," they are still not the same things, technically.

For the sake of this response, we will use the terminology of Essence for the part of you that exists with or without a Role. We will use Role to refer to the specific medium through which Essence experiences itself in relation to other fragments sharing a similar agenda, and sharing an intent to be a part of the spiritual ecology of a particular system, such as Earth, all of its lifeforms, and more specifically, Human Sentience.

The PERSONALITY experiences evolution within a single lifetime, from its Infancy to Death. Within that time frame, it goes through rites of passages relative to its physical and psychological age progression and our channels refer to those as Internal Monads. The ROLE also goes through stages that our channels refer to as Internal Monads, which is a different scale than that of the Personality. To help in clarifying this differentiation, we think it would be a good idea to refer to the Internal Monads of the Personality as "The Seven Rites of Passages" as a means to differentiate from the Seven Internal Monads of the Role. The Seven Rites of Passage are still, technically, Internal Monads, but specific to the Personality. Not all stages, or Rites of Passage during a life will be experienced or completed within a single lifetime because of physiological or psychological interruptions, limitations, and interferences.

ROLE experiences evolution from its first physical lifetime through its last physical incarnation, even if by proxy (Transcendental or Infinite*). Role's evolution is measured by Internal Monads, as well, but these are relative to the progression through the Soul Levels that you find in the Soul Ages. The Role's evolution through each Level is dependent on each Personality's efforts to progress through its own Rites of Passages. The further a Personality can progress through its Rites of Passages in the positive poles, the further the Role is progressed through its own Internal Monads. The 7 Internal Monads for the Role are the 7 stages of EACH LEVEL of the Soul Ages. Since it can take several Personalities (incarnations) to finally get through the 7 Life Stages, both physiologically and psychologically, it goes that it also takes that many lifetimes for a Role to progress from one level to the next in a Soul Age.

With this understanding, you could say that it takes 7 successful Rites of Passages to equate the 7 successful Internal Monads of the Role. The process for the 7 Rites of Passages takes place within the physiological and psychological boundaries of the Personality, whereas the 7 Internal Monads take place within the levels of Essence/Role and is built upon the processes of the Personality.

There are a couple of ways this evolution happens:

COMMON PROCESS (classic process)

Let's use a 5th Level Old Sage who is just starting the 5th Level.

5th Level Personality # 1 : lives to 12 years old; finishes the 2nd Rite of Passage (postive pole)
5th Level Personality # 2 : lives to 25 years old; finishes the 3rd Rite of Passage (negative pole)
5th Level Personality # 3 : lives to 50 years old: finishes the 3rd Rite of Passage (negative pole)
5th Level Personality # 4 : lives to 52 years old; finishes 3rd Rite of Passage (positive pole)
5th Level Personality # 5 : lives to 60 years old; finishes 4th Rite of Passage (negative pole)
5th Level Personality # 6 : lives to 45 years old; finishes 4th Rite of Passage (negative pole)
5th Level Personality # 7 : lives to 55 years old; finishes 4th Rite of Passage (positive pole)
5th Level Personality # 8 : lives to 72 years old; finishes 5th Rite of Passage (negative pole)
5th Level Personality # 9 : lives to 65 years old; finishes 5th Rite of Passage (positive pole)
5th Level Personality # 10 lives to 25 years old; finishes 6th Rite of Passage (positive pole)
5th Level Personality # 11 lives to 17 years old; finishes 7th Rite of Passage (positive pole)

7 Rites of Passages Completed; 7 Internal Monads Completed = 5th LEVEL Completed

NEXT LIFETIME = 6th Level; and a completely new cycle through the 7 Rites of Passage/7 Internal Monads as a process toward the next soul level/age.

Notice that a "short" lifetime can still quickly build upon the collection of past Rites of Passage as a means to "quickly" move into the later Passages. It is often the case that if only the 6th and 7th are remaining, a child will generate a terminal illness early in the life, speeding the process of awareness of mortality and impending death as a means to sum up the Rites of Passages, Internal Monads, and Level.

RARE or NON-Classic Process:

In some lifetimes, it is of interest to the Older Soul to transit a Level WITHIN the lifetime. This is rare, but not so rare for Older Souls. When this happens, the lifetime is quite literally "two lifetimes in one." There are a multitude of reasons for choosing this process, and here's how it works:

Let's use a 5th Level Old Sage who decides to transit Soul Levels within a lifetime. Only the 6th and 7th Rites were not completed for the 5th Level, so rather than have a short life, or die when the 6th and 7th Rites are completed, the lifetime continues into a new cycle of Rites of Passages. When this happens, the Personality literally goes through a phase of deep awareness of its mortality and senses an impending "death."

All Rites of Passages are physiological and psychological. We often think of these as relative to the physical age, but that just so happens to be a classic pattern. The actual Rites can happen at any physical age. It's the psychological levels that are the important dimensions. That's why someone can be stuck in the 3rd Rite of Passage, but be 80 years old. It's also why a 12 year old can be processing the 6th Rite of Passage.

So when a person is transiting Soul Levels during a lifetime, it means they are also completing in the positive pole the 7th Rite of Passage. When that happens, the person undergoes a kind of psychological death (7th Rite), the Soul Level transit happens, and a psychological rebirth (1st Rite) happens, regardless of physical age. The following Rites of Passage will now add an interesting process to the lifetime as the person, regardless of physical age, now processes this rebirth, and then attempts the 2nd Rite of Mobility, the 3rd Rite of Independence, etc. as far as they can go with what years are left within the lifetime. Sometimes they only get through the first or second Rite, sometimes further.

[QUESTION] Does this mean that Essence can have multiple Roles incarnating -- what makes up Grand Cycles?

[Michael Entity] With all of this being said, the ROLE starts as an "infant" because it is relative to its current cycle of exploration within a specific species, but the Spark who is Essence existed long before this current Role and species. There are other species and systems through which an Essence/Spark has already explored, from the initial choosing of a Role to its reunion with Tao. We refer to the entirety of this process as a Grand Cycle.

[COMMENT] It's finally making sense!

[Michael Entity] Your Role does not change during one of these Grand Cycles, but once that Grand Cycle is completed, the Role is discarded, along with all of its dynamics, such as Frequency and Male/Female Energy Ratios, Essence Twins, Task Companions, Entities, Cadres, etc. and when a new Grand Cycle is chosen, all of those elements are chosen anew.

[COMMENT] so, it's the Role that cycles off

[Michael Entity] The Grand Cycle is to your Essence/Spark, what each Personality is to your Role. Most fragments within the Human Species have an average of 3 Grand Cycles. Most of our students, which is one Energy Ring, or 12 Cadres, share an average of 9 Grand Cycles.

[Michael Entity] Essence does not evolve without the Role and the Role does not evolve without the Personality. Personality does not evolve without the 7 Rites of Passages.

[Michael Entity] We realize we meandered through a response as a means to help provide context for our response. Did this answer you sufficiently for now?

[Michael Entity] In conclusion, the Essence/Spark DOES evolve, but it is on a different scale of measurement. There is a time when the Essence/Spark is an "infant," so to speak, but it inherently retains all of the qualities of Tao. The Essence/Spark's scale of evolution is of such a scale that the results would be difficult to comprehend. From what we understand, each Essence/Spark eventually runs its own universe, eventually fragmenting itself and continuing the spectacular creativity that is Tao, becoming its own "god," if you will. But this is not something one need concern oneself with as you consider how to pay your bills and get along with your loved ones.

[Michael Entity] The number of Grand Cycles does have some effect on the way a Role will show up, even in its first Infant lifetime. Those with higher Grand Cycles can tend to seem much wiser than those with fewer Grand Cycles, which is why Entities and Cadres who share an average of Grand Cycles tend to incarnate quite tightly at first so that no one "sticks out." As the Role evolves, the Entities and Cadres "spread out" and are more capable of blending in with other fragments who may have more or less Grand Cycles.

[COMMENT] Sometimes, I think we incarnate to escape the complexities of it all...we come here to stop and smell the roses so to speak

[Michael Entity] We would agree, especially for those lifetimes having a Goal of Flow or Re-evaluation.

[Michael Entity] Next question.

[QUESTION] Back to basics 101 - I need a refresher on how to break the hold of the negative pole of Flow - Stagnation/Inertia. Would Michael offer some practical suggestions on dealing with this problem when it is hard just to do/start anything? I hope this is general enough - dealing with the negative pole of Flow. ( And yes, I see NCF playing a role in this as well, ) I think I'm stuck smelling the roses in only one place, hehehe

[Michael Entity] One of the most effective ways of breaking Inertia is to surrender to it. This may seem counter to the intent, but one of the things that keeps a person locked in Inertia is the sense of "running in place," or "doing a lot of nothing." When one can surrender to the gravity that seems to keep one in place, the footing can be regained, or the sense of productivity and fulfillment can be regained.

[COMMENT] ah

[Michael Entity] The point of having a Goal of Flow is to learn how to navigate within the currents that are natural to the life, and often those currents swirl, so to speak, or slow, or eddy.

[COMMENT] . . . or get stuck on the rocks, hehe

[Michael Entity] One of the greatest challenges for those in Flow is to overcome the pressure to show evidence and justification for their presence.

[COMMENT] and NCF gets you on that part, for sure
[COMMENT] oh boy do I get that...

[Michael Entity] When a fragment chooses Flow as a Goal, it is because there is an interest in the nuances and subtleties of existence and this increases the sensitivity of the Personality.

[COMMENT] So, smell that rose until it blackens, shrivels, and dries
[COMMENT] .... and then make potpouri!

[Michael Entity] This sensitivity is heightened so as to develop an intuitive grasp of the life and its natural flow, much like one might have when navigating a boat, skateboard, or other vehicle of momentum that pulls all of the senses together to calculate navigation without having to over analyze.

[COMMENT] hmm, maybe why this is why I think well while driving, lol; driving alone that is
[COMMENT] I absolutely understand the idea of subtle navigation

[Michael Entity] However, this sensitivity then leads to an awareness of all of the subtleties of one's "insides," so to speak, so all of the areas within oneself that are not flowing freely are felt, too.

[COMMENT] perhaps that is part of the problem - a feeling that the natural flow is being blocked and feeling uncomfortable with that and wanting to 'flow' again - and not quite seeing how to get back there.

[Michael Entity] Often, the Personality will turn to external environments for the solution to the lack of freedom within.

[COMMENT] hence the inertia...

[Michael Entity] Flowing externally and can help the flow, internally, but often it can take internal adjustments, as well.

[COMMENT] ok
[COMMENT] empty the well - so; it can be refilled

[Michael Entity] Both the internal and external are connected, and one can help the other, but when one is neglected over the other, it can cause the sense of inertia, no matter how productive and free the life can seem in one area over the other.

[COMMENT] I understand that

[Michael Entity] One of the most effective ways we've seen our students understand the concept of FLOW is to set alongside it the concept of PERMISSION.

[COMMENT] ah to allow the flow......

[Michael Entity] When one feels the life is not flowing, internally or externally, it can help to ask where one has limited his or her sense of Permission. And often that permission is the barrier to the very simple and freeing experience of Relaxation. To relax. To embrace. To allow. To Be. Without apology or proof.

[Michael Entity] We have more to say about this, especially in terms of how the negative pole can be shifted by using the positive pole of the other Goals, but we will elaborate on that in other sessions.

[QUESTION] Hello Michael, my question has to do with choosing overleaves. In reviewing [between lives] does the fragment look over the whole series of incarnations to decide, or find a particular lifetime where something got missed... could you give me an example of how I chose this life's overleaves?

[Michael Entity] There are basically three ways a fragment will choose its Overleaves: Randomly, Out of Curiosity, and Through Calculation.

Earliest Personalities of the Infant Soul are a product of Randomness, with "random" simply meaning that no intent or calculation was involved in the choice, though choice was still involved.

Late Baby through Early Mature bring Personalities that are products of Curiosity, meaning that there is more involved in the choice of Overleaves, but often with an "I wonder what would happen if..." kind of perspective.

Mid Mature through Late Old can bring the most calculated Personalities, as the intent for final comprehension, integration, and commitment to the path for that fragment ensues.

7th Level Old is a free-for-all, which is why many who are truly 7th Level Old do not appear to be Old at all, since the Personalities are not of those you would presume to be so wise. But that is a perk of "getting older," in that one is no longer constrained by fears, obligations, ties, etc. and one can finally play with lifetimes in a way that are thoroughly understood as safe.

[COMMENT] the perks of Old Age.....:)

[Michael Entity] Some of the oldest souls on your planet are simply annoying and bring nothing of obvious value to society or to their social circles. Some of the "wisest," most spiritual and grounded of souls on your planet are far younger in soul age than one might presume, but many of these guru-like fragments are caught in the maya of what "wise" should look like, and play the role quite well.

[COMMENT] I have always felt I planned all this since I was a kid

[Michael Entity] The mapping of a lifetime, and the adherence to that map, vary from fragment to fragment, Personality to Personality.

[Michael Entity] It would be accurate to say that you are of the more calculated choice in Overleaves and that your Personality found the mapping of your life to be of value, and adheres to that map within reason.

[Michael Entity] Next question

[QUESTION] abandonment - we all do this alot , we come together, we go apart , that is life, as we know it... so, what can you tell me, that would help all of us, with this type of issue involved with our passages through our lives -- i am sure, it is a theme for many -- how deeply rooted is ABANDONMENT/does it have 7 levels; and; how do each of the 7 chief dragons affect it, like impatience, aggroance, self dep; self destruction, etc

[Michael Entity] True Abandonment is of such popularity for exploration by souls that it is within the 30 "Classic" (external) Monads: the Abandoned and the Abandoner. It is quite popular for the same reasons that the other relationships are popular: it is an accelerated experience that holds great potential for learning about oneself. True Abandonment is an experience that eventually leads to a discovery of self-value and empowerment that, when discovered, is unprecedented. True Abandonment is antithesis to the truth of your resonance with others, and to experience it pushes one to question the value of oneself in ways that few other experiences push one to question in that way. The process of being abandoned, and the process of questioning, can be extremely painful until the lies are worked through and the truth is finally comprehended: that the value of self is never dependent upon the relative position one is within a relationship; and that the experience of abandonment is, ironically, due to the overblown value one has placed upon another fragment over self.

Survival Abandonment: which is the abandonment of a position that is necessary for the survival of another, such as a mother abandoning a baby in a ditch.

Sexual Abandonment: which is the abandonment of a position that nurtures another in an intimate way, either literally sexually, or simply as embracing the Other as Oneself.

Physical Abandonment: which is the abandonment of a position that was necessary for the mobility and productivity of another fragment.

Emotional Abandonment: which is the abandonment of a position that embraces another fragment with room to Be without explanation or apology.

Intellectual Abandonment: which is the abandonment of a position of communication and exchange with another.

Intuitive Abandonment: which is the abandonment of a position of encouragement for upholding the fulfillment of visions, dreams, and wishes.

Spiritual Abandonment: which is the abandonment of a position of guidance and clarity for the bigger picture and pattern of the life.

[Michael Entity] In instances of True Abandonment, Karma is often created. When we say True Abandonment, we mean that one has instilled oneself as a provider for a particular context, and then bails on the responsibilities of that position upon which another became dependent. When one experiences True Abandonment, the effects are valid and we do not mean to suggest that they are not, though we do suggest that most of the contexts can be overcome as the individual fragment finds his or her own sense of value.

[Michael Entity] In the first context of Survival, the exploration of value is dependent upon Essence, not the Personality. The Essence will either let the life go as a means to start again in another life, or find a way to get help to the Personality that has been abandoned, if the Personality is receptive to that help.

[Michael Entity] Yes, there is a relevant parallel to the Chakras.

[QUESTION] Every Personality can experience many abandonments which are only experience -- not Monadal levels of True Abandonment?

[Michael Entity] The Monadal process of Abandoned/Abandoner would focus on a single Circle, or context, emphasizing, for instance, Sexual Abandonment or Intuitive Abandonment. The Monad of Abandoned/Abandoner can be played out multiple times across different relationships for emphasis on the different Circles, or contexts.

[Michael Entity] We would also wish to clarify that we use the term True Abandonment to refer to the legitimate reliquishing of responsibilities for a position that was originally, mutually agreed upon. This is to differentiate from the INTERPRETATION of Abandonment that is merely a reaction to the disappointment that someone did not fulfill your expectations.

[Michael Entity] Most instances of True Abandonment are thoroughly explored by mid to late Mature. Most instances of abandonment after that are those of interpretation and directly related to self-karmic issues (personal, internal divisions within) that one is working on resolving.

[QUESTION] An Infant soul has certain characteristics. Are these Infant Soul characteristics similar to what is experienced at each level. So that a person at a level one Old soul age, will be orienting to this new Age with some of the perspective of an Infant but specifically to the Old Soul experience.

[Michael Entity] That is a valid observation. It could be said that the First Level of any Soul Age is the "infant" level of that soul age, and so on. The 6th and 7th Levels of a Soul Age would resonate to the Transcendental and Infinite Soul Ages, wherein the 6th Level is a process of opening to the collective experiences of your Essence for guidance through the life, and the 7th Level is a process of openness to one's Entity for guidance for the life. While this is not a strict correlation, it is one that can help lend understanding to each Level.
